Great guide and tour - Hugo arrived at our hotel early and was ready for our day. He offered us some options to customize our tour. We chose a cork factory, evora and a wine tasting in a castle. Great day. We stopped for lunch and he helped us order He provided bottles of water. He explained what we we going to see and answered any questions we had. He speaks excellent English. I would highly recommend him to you. If we come back we will call him.

Great relaxing day! - We (2 adults/and two 12yo) went with Hugo for a private tour to Évora, bone chapel and a few churches and the cork factory. He was patient with my kids. He even had an iPad attached to one of the seats so they could watch videos. His car has WiFi and he provided us with water bottles. He was very understanding with a medical issue for my son. He was flexible chatting with my husband in the front seat while I promptly fell asleep sitting up in the back :). He gave us information on the sites, we caught the tour at the cork factory and he always took the opportunity to take a family pics for us at picturesque moments. He was a safe driver. He took us to a restaurant forcing and told us what local delicacies to order. He was clearly known and well liked by the staff but it didn’t feel like he was taking us there for his benefit - it was truly a place and taste for us to learn and share. He was fine with comfortable silence when we were tired but kept up cordial conversation for chit chat too. He offered to help us with anything while we were in Lisbon. Highly recommend, would use again, and he had very reasonable prices!

DesWhit Touring Evora - This trip was amazing. Hugo was very personable and a great host/guide. We got to learn about his family and history along with the history of Evora. The sites were wonderful from the cork factory, the town, lunch, and wine tasting. Everything was top notch. We would recommend this experience.

Perfect Day - Hugo (driver/guide) was exceptional. Great advice, great driving, great conversation. The Evora/Monsaraz tour was exactly as advertised with a great lunch reservation. Hugo also added very valuable assistance on how to deal with the forest closures that happened the next day. Basically he saved our vacation and chipped in with a great restaurant recommendation in Cascais.

The best guide ever - Hugo was amazing. Excellent driver. -Beautiful clean car-Good ( English) communication. Wonderful suggestions and helpful hints for the rest of our vacation. Definitely will hire him again - I took my parents to Portugal for my mom's birthday. I am so glad that I booked the tour trip with him as I got sick unexpectedly. He showed my parents around while I stayed in the car and took good care of them so I could get some rest. He is very knowledgeable and shares his love of history. I am grateful for his dedication.

Frita Preta - Evora - Private Driver - Hugo Romano - I would highly recommend Hugo Romano as a private driver and tour guide if you are visiting Portugal. He was our driver for two days for my 3 girlfriends and myself. He was extremely professional, friendly and personable. We felt very at ease with him, and he is a very safe driver and very knowledgeable. We visited the Frita Preta winery for a tour and tasting. Was an amazing winery. Then Hugo recommended and took us to a great little restaurant in Evora. After lunch we toured around Evora, went to the Chapel of the Bones, and had an amazing day all around. Hugo's customer service and love of his country (and 'Red' football team) is what made our trip memorable. Don't hesitate to reach out of him for all your travel needs in Portugal.

Everything awesome - This was the second day of the trip with Mr. Hugo. He went back to planning our itinerary, starting with the cork factory. Then we went to the center of Évora, saw the monuments and had lunch in a restaurant next to the chapel of the bones, with very tasty food, advised by Mr. Hugo. We ended the day trip with a wine tasting. We recommend Hugo, very professional and friendly.
