Excellent time in Sintra - We had a wonderful time with Hugo on our private tour to Sintra. Our favorite was the Queluz palace which we didn’t even have on our original list. He was very helpful and accommodating - working with us to figure out an itinerary that worked best for us!

PERFECT - Great knowledgeable private tour from local resident - best way to do a day trip from Lisbon to Sintra/Cascais - Would give 6 stars if possible.
Planning a full day trip away from Lisbon can be intimidating; but Hugo took care of everything. We couldn’t have crafted a better itinerary if we tried. We were able to hit all of the key spots, as well as with the knowledge and tips of an insider who knew how to avoid the biggest lines and how to make the most of our day.
It is the right way to do a day trip with a local resident who cares about making sure the guest gets everything they want out of the vacation.
Hugo was very easy to communicate with as we planned everything out. And he gave us all the best recommendations for the rest of our trip after learning what would be best for us.
Simply put the day with Hugo was a highlight of our trip.

One of our favorite experiences of our trip! - We cannot say enough good things about Hugo and the perfect day we had in Sintra and Cascais. I am a detail-oriented planner, and naturally coordinated all the details for our Portugal holiday. But it was sooooo nice to have a day where I did not have to plan a thing. Hugo’s calm demeanor, patience and kindness with our 4-year-old son, dependability and punctuality made the day relaxing and easy. He made us feel comfortable right from the start, and our son took to him right away—even wanting to hold Hugo’s hand as we walked! We thoroughly enjoyed learning the history and background of the palaces, architecture, and Portuguese people from an authentic Portuguese perspective. We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch by the water—upscale but family friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend Hugo and this private tour, worth every penny!

Fantastic day with Hugo! - Hugo was fantastic. He helped us decide on an “avoid the crowds” itinerary and it did not disappoint. We saw a few smaller towns, had lovely pastries and ice cream. Walked the gardens, visited a palace and had the best seafood lunch, right on the water! Throughout the day, Hugo was very attentive to our needs and had plenty of history and jokes to share. 10/10, would highly recommend!!!!

Amazing! Imperdível - We had an amazing private tour visiting Sintra, Cascais, and the Palace of Queluz with our guide, Hugo. He was extremely professional, incredibly attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. Hugo helped us plan the itinerary, gave us valuable tips along the way, and provided exceptional service throughout the day. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a personalized and memorable tour in Portugal.

Excellent tour guide - Hugo! - Hugo was an outstanding tour guide. He kept in close contact with us before our tour and arrived at our scheduled time and pick-up location. We felt very safe with his driving skills as he was always very careful. He kindly provided water bottles for each of us in the car. He was knowledgeable about the locations we were visiting and gave us an excellent overview of the history of these areas. He is polite, funny, and very professional. He also brought us to an excellent restaurant for lunch. Hugo also took many pictures for us with our cell phones, knowing the best locations to snap pictures. We really appreciated him doing this. It was so lovely to have met Hugo, and I would certainly recommend him to friends and family.

Hugo is the best tour guide! We had a wonderful time! - Hugo designed a custom tour for us to Sintra, Cascais, and Cabo da Roca. He was very knowledgeable about the history and culture and we had a wonderful time touring with him, including a fabulous lunch in Cascais. He also gave us many unique recommendations for sights and restaurants and we highly recommend his services! We were able to enjoy the day and scenery on our own schedule and not have to worry about driving or parking. He is great for a private tour or for a private car to any destination in the area. Enjoy!

Guide wasn’t up to the job bearing in mind the cost - Saw interesting places with an inexperienced guide. Nice enough guy though. He did his best but wasn’t very forthcoming with details about the places we visited
