- Rocky Mountain National Park - Best Sunrise Tour: This tour begins by meeting your party at your lodge in Estes Park or at the Estes Park Visitor Center before sunrise and proceeding directly into Rocky Mountain National Park to breathtaking views looking east to greet the rising sun. We’ll take our time getting back stopping often to enjoy the scenery while we observe and photograph birds & animals, plants & geology and then arriving in Estes Park just in time for breakfast.

As a local historian and nature enthusiast living in the region for over half a century, my role is to enhance the vivid allure of nature’s beauty you will witness. We will focus on the abundant wildlife, varied ecology, and impressive geology of the Rockies. Additionally, we’ll gain perspectives into the life of early settlers, lodge owners, and native tribes like the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute.
My tour services are entirely adaptable. If you wish to walk for 3 or 4 miles, wonderful! Or, if you prefer to simply unwind, luxuriate in the scenery, that works too! Regardless, we’ll pause frequently to capture and discuss the remarkable vistas.

Beautiful Views, Informative Tour, and Successful Proposal! - Bruce was an exceptional tour guide and very accommodating. Due to a large winter storm the previous day, we were able to try out snow shoeing which was a blast! Bruce had all the gear we needed. On top of that Bruce is extremely knowledgeable! Answered all of our curious questions about wildlife, history and the park. In addition, I proposed to my now fiancée during the tour with the help of Bruce and cannot recommend the tour enough. No matter what season you will be in for a treat. Plenty of amazing photos to take and Bruce is more than happy to take some family photos! If you do find yourself up in Estes Park this tour is a must!

In Awe of the Rockies - Bruce, our tour guide, picked us up at our hotel as promised. The Sunrise tour was a good choice as the park was not crowded at that hour. He brought us to areas where we could see Elk in their habitat. He shared info about the plant /tree growth in different elevations ( tundra) . He brought us to the continental divide. The experience of being in the majestic Rockies was one that will remain with us forever. Thanks, Bruce.

Rocky mountain sunrise tour - Bruce was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about the park, wildlife, fauna and terrain. He is very personable and my husband and I enjoyed his company and knowledge. I absolutely loved the tour and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys personal service. Phenomenal - Bruce was delightful! So much knowledge he shared that made the beautiful scenery even better. We visited 7 cities on our vacation and this experience was definitely all of our favorites! Would highly recommend Bruce and this tour!

Flexibility - Props to Bruce. We were scheduled to do the sunrise tour but i had food poisoning and could not go. Bruce suggested a sunset tour and i was good by then. So glad we got to experience it!

Inside scoop on RMNP and Estes Park - Bruce is an expert of the RMNP. This tour was a great way to jump start our time in Estes and at the park. You learn things that aren’t widely published and get advice that will make your stay more rewarding. This tour made our short time in Estes a resounding success. Highly recommend!

Sunrise over the mountains bucket list - This was a wonderful tour not only the sunrise but Bruce is a wealth of wonderful knowledge. We learned so much and he made sure to find ALL of the animals!
