I’m a seasoned surfer hailing from Encinitas with a desire to immerse you in the phenomenal world of surfing. I offer lessons that cater to novices and intermediate-level surfers. My aim is to ensure you enjoy yourself, build confidence, and completely absorb the distinctive essence of surfing. When we wrap up the lesson, you’ll have ridden a few of your initial waves and you’ll also possess a deeper understanding of the ocean.

Fantastic experience surfing with Karch - Karch is a great guy and we had an awesome time surfing with him. There were two of us in our party and both absolute beginners. Karch was was very patient explaining the basics and getting us to practice on the beach before getting us into the water so we could see what surfing is all about. If you’re from the UK, surfing in the Pacific Ocean is a bit of a bucket list item - at least for me - and Karch was the perfect teacher. His communication was friendly and prompt and the equipment we used was high quality with my wetsuit being brand new. We surfed off Cardiff Beach which was a great spot for beginners and enabled us to figuratively find our feet with rolling waves that gave us plenty of opportunity to try out our new moves. I hope to go back someday and if Karch is up for another round of surfing with a couple of beginners then so are we!
