From there, we ventured westward, leaving the bustling city behind and entering a world where the past is ever-present.

Our first stop was the awe-inspiring Kelpies, towering metal sculptures that pay homage to Scotland’s industrial heritage. These equine giants stand as sentinels at the entrance to the Forth and Clyde Canals, a testament to the ingenuity and spirit of the Scottish people. As we continued our journey, the landscape transformed, revealing the rugged beauty of the Highlands. The village of Luss, nestled on the shores of Loch Lomond, offered a glimpse into the tranquil life of the Highlands, with its picturesque cottages and stunning views of Ben Lomond.

The day culminated at Dunadd Fort, an ancient site steeped in history. Here, the kings and queens of Dalriada were crowned, their legacy etched into the very rock upon which we stood.
