Darjeeling to Dhotre Drive (2 hrs), then Dhotre to Gairibans Trek

Dhotrey - On Day 1, the guide will pick the Operator up early in the morning from the hotel. The trip begins with a 40 km drive from Darjeeling to Dhotre. After an hour of driving, Maneybhanjyang is reached, which marks the border between India and Nepal, where details (passport) must be shown to security personnel. Maneybhanjyang also serves as the breakfast point. After breakfast, the drive continues for another 13 km to Dhotre. Dhotre is a small forest village situated between Rimbik and Darjeeling. The trek starts from Dhotre with a gradual, steep trail covered with rhododendrons up to the halfway point. After around 2 hours of trekking, the border of Nepal and India is reached, and following a jeep road for a couple of minutes, Tumling is reached, a small Gurung village on the India-Nepal border. The destination is Gairibas, passing through Tonglu, Tumling, and Jaubari. The total trek for the day is 12 km. Lunch will be on the way. On reaching Gairibas, tea and snacks will be served, and dinner will be served by 8 p.m.

Gairibans to Sandakphu Trek (3636 m / 11929 ft) 4/5 hrs

Sandakphu - On Day 2, the guide will wake the Operator early for the sunrise view. Gairibans is famous for bird watching and as a red panda destination. After breakfast, the trail ascends all the way through dwarf rhododendron forest to Kala Pokhari, meaning black lake. This route is also rich in Primula species, Impatiens falcifer, owl-eyed impatiens, Sorbus, Pyrus, Enkianthus, and Roscoea alpina. Lunch is taken at Kalapokhari, and later the trek continues to Sandakphu, another 4 km from Kalapokhari. In the evening, tea and snacks are served, and the guide will take the Operator to the sunset viewpoint on the Nepal side. Later, dinner and an overnight stay in Sandakphu follow. Trek distance: 13 km. Day 2 ends.

Sandakphu to Phalut Trek (3500 m / 11482 ft) 5/6 hrs

Phalut to Gorkhey Trek (2560 m / 8398 ft) 4/5 hrs

Gorkhey to Sirikhola Trek (5 to 6 hrs) - Sirikhola to Darjeeling Drive (4 hrs)

Normally its a 6 days trek but we have customize it to 5 days trek. This trek is one of the best treks in Darjeeling, panoramic view of Nepal and Sikkim Himalayas can be seen. 4 of the world highest peak Everest, Makalu , Lhotse and Kanchenjunga is visible from Sandakphu and Phalut during trek. The entire trek lies inside national park , if lucky travelers can get to see red panda during trek. During trek Nepali and Indian food will be provided, our guides are very jolly and active so you wont feel lonely or boring during the trek.
