Lotus Temple - Begin your day with a hearty breakfast and embark on a full-day tour of both Old and New Delhi. A chauffeur-driven, air-conditioned car will collect you from your accommodation for a day of exploration. The first stop is the Lotus Temple, renowned for its distinctive architecture resembling a flower. Constructed in 1986, the temple is a welcoming space for visitors of all faiths. It has garnered multiple architectural accolades and has been featured in numerous publications.

Raj Ghat - The tour continues to Rajghat, the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948.

Rashtrapati Bhawan - Proceed to the heart of New Delhi to witness the grandeur of British-era government buildings, including the Presidential Palace and Parliament. Take a break for lunch at a comfortable, air-conditioned restaurant (at your own expense) before continuing your journey.

Birla Mandir Temple (Lakshmi Narayan) - Visit the Birla Temple, also known as the Laxminarayan Mandir, a significant religious site and a landmark of Delhi. Built between 1933 and 1939 by industrialist B.D. Birla, the temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi and is the first among many temples erected by the Birla family across India. It is a place of worship that draws numerous devotees.

India Gate - Next, explore India Gate, a war memorial inscribed with the names of over 13,300 servicemen of the Indian Army who perished in World War I.

Red Fort - Visit the historic Red Fort, a symbol of India’s rich past and a venue for important political events. Beyond its impressive exterior lies a complex of palaces, halls, museums, and more.

Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - Continue to the Jama Masjid, a 17th-century mosque that ranks among the largest in the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built with the assistance of 5,000 workers, it is known for its commanding views.

Chandni Chowk - Conclude the day at Chandni Chowk, the largest market of the 17th century, renowned for its selection of dry fruits and spices.

DELHI - HARIDWAR

Mansa Devi Temple - After breakfast, travel by road to Haridwar and check into your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the city’s temples, including the revered Mansa Devi Temple, situated on Bilwa Parvat. The temple is a center of worship for Goddess Mansa, a form of Shakti believed to have originated from the mind of Sage Kashyap. It is a well-known Siddhpeeth offering panoramic views of Haridwar.

Har ki Pauri - Har Ki Pauri is a significant landmark and a famous ghat on the banks of the Ganges in Haridwar. It is the focal point for devotees and is said to be the spot where the Ganges exits the mountains. The renowned Ganga Aarti is performed at the Brahmakund area of Har Ki Pauri, where it is believed that the divine nectar once fell to earth. The site also hosts the grand Hindu fairs of Kumbh and Ardh Kumbh.

Chandi Devi Temple - Situated atop Neel Parvat, the Chandi Devi Temple is a key pilgrimage destination in Haridwar. Legend has it that the main idol was installed by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century. The temple, accessible by a trek or cable car, was built in its current form in 1929 by Suchan Singh and is one of the Panch Tirth within Haridwar.

HARIDWAR - RISHIKESH - HARIDWAR

Lakshman Jhula Bridge - Spend a full day in Rishikesh, starting with the Lakshman Jhula, a suspension bridge over the Ganges. It connects the villages of Tapovan and Jonk and is a significant landmark.

Ram Jhula - Visit Ram Jhula, another iron suspension bridge over the Ganges, which has replaced the original rope bridge associated with Lord Rama.

Gita Bhawan - Gita Bhawan is an ashram known for its ayurvedic dispensary and a branch of the Gita Press.

Triveni Ghat - Experience the spiritual ambiance of the Triveni Ghat during the Arati ceremony, where devotees gather to offer salutations to the Ganges.

HARIDWAR - AGRA

Taj Mahal - After breakfast, head to Agra and upon arrival, check into your hotel. Visit the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz. The Yamuna River provides a stunning backdrop, and the surrounding gardens enhance the monument’s beauty.

Agra Fort - Continue to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a historical fort that was the main residence of the Mughal Emperors. The fort houses various structures that reflect India’s rich history.

AGRA - JAIPUR

Jaipur - Travel to Jaipur after breakfast and check into your hotel. Known as the Pink City, Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and is famous for its hospitality, royal heritage, vibrant markets, and historical significance. The city is part of the Golden Triangle tourist circuit, along with Agra and Delhi. Jaipur’s bazaars, gardens, monuments, and heritage hotels, which were once the abodes of Maharajas, are captivating. The city’s tradition of treating guests as deities and its history of valiant battles are still evident today. Stay overnight at the hotel.

JAIPUR SIGHTSEEING

Amber Palace - After breakfast, visit the Amber Fort, an artistic marvel located in Amer and built by Raja Man Singh I. The Maota Lake in front of the fort adds to its scenic beauty.

City Palace of Jaipur - Explore the City Palace of Jaipur, constructed in 1721 and once the seat of the Maharaja. It now houses the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum and remains the residence of the royal family.

Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - Discover Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring a collection of astronomical instruments created by Sawai Jai Singh II.

Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - Visit the Hawa Mahal, a distinctive palace made of red and pink sandstone and known for its unique five-story structure, built by Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799.
