Trip to Lodz with Jewish History during the Holocaust - While small, Lodz has a first class interactive museum highlighting the Jewish ghetto during the Holocaust. In addition, the complex that once housed the textile mill that enabled the ghetto residents to remain valuable to the Nazis is now a huge outdoor mall. That complex and the Poznanski Palace was incredible. My guide Martin was so knowledgeable about Lodz - at the same time sensitive and empathetic to the plight of the Jews and the terrible circumstance of their plight. Martin was a wonderful guide and I enjoyed my day with him, considering the sad subject matter.
