Our building is located on the right side of Pete's Pier Marina at 1 SW 1st Place, Crystal River FL 34429. There is a $10.00 Parking Fee to be paid upon arrival to the parking attendant. Must arrive 30 minutes prior to reservation start time to complete check-in process.

Glad we went with Family-Owned! - Our family of 5 rented a waterbike, 2 kayaks, and 2 paddleboards for 2 hours and LOVED IT! The experience paddling with manatees was unreal, but the customer service from Paddles Outdoors was unmatched. I had called around to several other places that were unpleasant on the phone, but upon talking to these guys, it was like night and day! They were polite, helpful in our logistics (coming from Orlando with a small RV), and able to book us same day with rentals during a busier season. We all appreciated the easy check-in process and the ride over to the launch. Paddling to Three Rivers took us maybe 30 minutes and was doable for all of us age 14-50+. It was pretty windy, so us paddleboarding had a harder time, so check the weather! (Unrelated, we had a good time driving over to Fort Island Gulf Beach for a while after, grabbing food at Shrimp Landing on the way, before trekking back to Orlando.) All in all, EXCELLENT experience with this family-owned and operated small business! Thanks so much!

A perfect day on the bay - Josh was great! Overall everything was great. Super professional, easy check in & out. Had a great time. The military appreciation discount meant a lot to us. Thank you for a great time! Highly recommend.

Great experience in Crystal River - They had everything ready for us as soon as we got there. They offered instructions on how to use the kayak and general points of interest on our self guided day on the water. Equipment was clean and well taken care of.

An indescribable excursion - We went on a 2-week road trip through Florida in December. During the planning process, it was clear to us relatively quickly that we were also making a stopover in Crystal River to swim with the Mandates. If you search for a suitable tour on Google, you will be overwhelmed with offers. Keeping track of things here isn't even that easy. It was important to us not to go to the region with a motorboat. Mainly because you are then completely dependent on the provider's plans. The homepage of Paddlesoutdoorrentals convinced us completely in the search. The big advantage for us was the integrated chat function. This allowed us to contact the organizer directly. The chat partner also sits on site and greets you on arrival (it is a small family business). Since the water area at Crystal River is relatively large, we booked a tandem kayak for the whole day in advance. Here it is recommended to book a tour directly at 08:00 or 08:30. At this time, the Mandatees are still mostly close to the warm springs. After our arrival we were welcomed by the owner very friendly. Ample parking is available right outside the door. After a short conversation we were advised of the possibility of snorkeling. We had not booked this in advance because we were afraid of alligators. This fear was and was taken away and we were still able to borrow wetsuits and snorkeling equipment on site for a cheap $36 in total. A GoPro can also be borrowed. I also recommend this to everyone to capture this unique experience (we had our own with us). After a short drive to the starting point we were let into the water with full equipment and a map. My tip: Take a backpack with water and sunscreen. Money is also available, as there are some restaurants with a mooring in the area. We were then from 08:30 to about 16:00 in the total

Great company, would try different location - In a group we got 2 SUPs and 2 single kayaks. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Due to some high waves the day we went they showed us alternate areas to paddle to so that we could avoid the big waves/ wind tunnels. We were able to about 10 manatees from a short distance during our paddle. The water near Three Sister Springs and along Crystal River was much darker than expected, making it tough to see beneath the water. We had been to Weeki Wachee in the past and would prefer to go there in the future due to calmer waters and more clear, spring-like conditions, making for a prettier paddle trip.
