Once you’ve reached the launch point, you’ll be outfitted with a harness, helmet, and a GoPro camera to capture your flight. A comprehensive briefing on the launch, flight, and landing processes will follow.
With just a few brisk strides, you’ll find yourself effortlessly lifting off from the slope. As you take to the skies, your pilot will assist you in settling into your harness, which will surprise you with its comfort and provide a sense of safety. Your pilot will skillfully search for thermal updrafts to potentially elevate you above the launch point, extending the duration of your flight. Throughout the flight, your pilot will offer a continuous narrative, highlighting points of interest and elucidating the mechanics of piloting the glider.
In time, you’ll descend towards the landing zone, ideally on the gentle sands of La Caleta beach, accompanied by the sound of the Atlantic’s waves, to make a gentle touchdown. The resulting sense of elation will linger with you for an extended period. This profound joy is precisely why we are passionate about flying.
