Great tour. Even greater guide. Thanks Carlos. 😉 - Great experience. We sadly had a little downpour at the lagoon where we wanted to swim. But Carlos was so engaging and positive that we didn't even think about it for long.

Trip to Chichen Itza and Cenote with lunch and shopping - We booked this trip through our hotel (it was through Nexus Tours). We were picked up at the hotel and transferred to a huge bus for the trip. The bus stopped for a couple of other groups to board after that. We then stopped for shopping/bathroom break before Chichen Itza. Beto was our tour guide and did a great job. They also provided guides in Spanish and French that day. We were provided umbrellas and water during the tour. Afterward, we were offered water, beer, and soda. We then went to lunch and after that, the cenote. Horchata was included with lunch but beer and other drinks were extra. Swimming in the cenote required renting a locker (unless you had a non-swimming friend to hold your stuff) and a life jacket at extra cost. We also stopped briefly in a little town to explore the square. The bus dropped us off at our hotel after the tour. It’s a long day but we enjoyed it.

Thank you Carlos - I had an absolutely unforgettable tour to Chichen Itza, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible guide Carlos, our driver (I believe his name was Wilson/ Wilbert), and Armando, who was there to assist and make everything run smoothly.
Carlos was phenomenal—knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging from start to finish. He brought the history of Chichen Itza to life with fascinating stories and insights, and he answered every question with such depth and enthusiasm. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that energy was infectious. He also gave us great tips for taking the best photos and navigating the site comfortably despite the heat.
Our driver Wilson/Wilbert was excellent. The ride was smooth and comfortable the entire way, which made the long journey much more enjoyable. And Armando was such a helpful presence throughout the day, always making sure we were comfortable, hydrated, and well taken care of.
The whole experience felt seamless and well-organized, but also relaxed and fun. If you're considering a trip to Chichen Itza, I can't recommend the Cancun Passion (Carlos) team enough. They turned a day of sightseeing into a genuinely special memory. Thank you, Carlos, Wilson, and Armando

History and magic in the Yucatan - Chichén Itzá is breathtaking and the stop at the cenote was life affirming. This tour was really well handled from the pickup, information, and attention to detail. Our crew was very attentive. Carlos Gonzalez was a wealth of information and made sure that everyone was having a great time.
If you’re on the fence — get off of it and take this excursion.

Thanks Beto for a great tour! - Had a great tour with Cancun Passion with the tour group leader Beto. He and the rest of the crew were all great, and while the bus ride there and back was long, they kept us comfortable with snacks, beverages, stuff like that. We stopped for a bit in the town Valladolid to walk around the main square, and then to place organized for tour groups like ours to shop and have lunch (very nice spot), then to Chichen Itza, which was of course spectacular in so many different ways. Then a stop at a cenote where some in the group swam (not me) and there was some more shopping kinds of opportunities. And then the long ride home. It was a long day, from first thing in the morning until almost 9 pm, but totally worth it, especially if you're like me, here staying at an all-inclusive resort and wanting to see a bit of what this part of Mexico is like.
