Excellent Tour with Wonderful Guide - This was a great walking tour through the market with lots of wonderful food to try. From the pani puri to the vada pav it was all prepared right in front of you and served fresh. My guide, Nivi, was excellent. Her knowledge of the market and the best places to eat was unparalleled. I would highly recommend her as a guide should you be doing this tour. A tour like this is a great way to experience the local life whilst in the hands of a trusted guide who knows the way and where to eat.

Delicious food in an bustling and authentic part of Chennai - This was such an amazing food tour with Satish. He took us to some really unique and local places and the food was just delicious. Loved the walk through the busy sowcarpet area as it was bustling and just full of life and energy. We really got a good feel for the city during this walk and I absolutely loved it. Great food in authentic Chennai - Nivi gave us a great tour and we got to try to so many street food snacks at the most popular stalls that all the locals were queuing at - we tried pani puri, bhel puri, vada pav, lassi and more! Really fun and tasty your!

Waking Food Tour - Ganesh was very knowledgeable about the history of the food and the city of Chennai. Each of the different places we stopped had great food and he made sure it was too my liking to know if he needed to modify where we went to next. Overall it was a fun and enlightening experience.

Very genuine non-touristy tour of night market trying lots of local street foods. Well organised. Strongly recommend. - Brilliant introduction to Chennai street food and night market. Ganesh was full of information and good humour, and really made sure we saw everything we wanted to. Plenty of time to take photos. Although we saw no other tourists and the streets were bustling, we felt safe. Tried all sorts of foods (more than 10) that we wouldn't have ventured to try on our own. Can thoroughly recommend a private tour as Ganesh was happy to adjust the tour to suit us and added some extra sights. Five Senses Tour was also happy to arrange transport direct from our hotel in a very modern clean vehicle. Make sure to arrive hungry!
