This was a very... - This was a very educational tour. The grounds were beautiful, although we missed the azaleas being in bloom. The house was well-preserved and it was nice to see all of the original artifacts. The buffet lunch that was included in the tour was great.

Poor communication - Tour operator literally Cancelled on us last minute. I understand mother nature but was not notified by tour company. Found out from another tour operator(same company different tour) at our meeting place that our particular tour was cancelled and only because I asked. (Note this was at the time our tour was supposed to start). Others waiting with us were also dumbfounded. I called the tour office and they said they were in process of notifying but this was after tour time and still no refund. Luckily we caught another tour with a different group who was exceptional and let us join their group last minute. I called Viator and they said they had not been notified that our tour was cancelled and that was well after our tour time. Would not recommend this tour group based on our experience.
