  • Baluarte de Santo Domingo - We finish our tour in this beatufull Fortification. The bastion of Santo Domingo has a particular importance, since it is the origin of the construction of the walls of Cartagena de Indias at the beginning of the 17th century. This fortification work was conceived around 1602 by the engineer Antonelli and his nephew Cristóbal de Roda, also an engineer, who decided to build it on the avenue where the pirate Francis Drake had entered in 1586.

Around the square is the Museo del Oro, which exhibits its fine collection of archaeological objects dating back to the prehispanic period; and the Palacio de la Inquisicion, recognisable for its large baroque door. The Inquisition held its meetings in the palace here and it was also the site of the prison and torture chambers for presumed heretics, opponents of the Catholic church.

Continues to the Santo Domingo church where you will try the Colombia´s most award winning coffee. A luxury coffee for the world , then we will finish at the Santo Domingo Bulwart to get back.

Edwardo, Nova and Olivia was very soci and very interactive in there service. - There was best rooms,best food, best entertainment and best experience. All the workers are at good and humble in there service.
