Wild :) - Do not expect any comfort, but its quite an experience if you want something different. You have to be some what fit to get in and out of speed boats from the water and back to water . Take a water showed- coral bottom with a mixture of sand at Barú island. Take a towels and a water- there is no water on the island. Be prepare be only one who speaks English . Wild packed ride on small speed boat after sunset to plankton water place- you will be sailing speed boat in completely dark and an expect to get wet. Diving in the see in the dark , getting back to bus with no time/ place to change. But being in the water was really cool. Coming back to the hotel after 10pm

Just do the Half Day Beach Tour - Please be advised... No English Spoken. None of the tour guides spoke English, which was difficult unless you have signal for a translation app. I chose to be picked up at the meeting point at 7:30am but we didn't leave the meeting point until almost 8:30am. It was a silent and very bumpy ride (not the drivers fault because of the roads, just a warning). Once we arrived to the beach we took a boat to the "private" beach area. It may be difficult getting in and out of the speed boat because of the waves and height of boat, so be forewarned. The beach area with the chairs, restroom and drinks/food bar are the only part that makes it private. There was no wifi access. The breakfast and lunch was good. The snack I was given before the plankton portion was just a cheese and meat sandwich and some juice, which I didn't eat or drink. As far as the Luminescent Plankton, maybe because the moon was bright, it was nothing like the pictures make it seem. It was more of a white light glow and not a blue color. So, if you pay for the professional pictures you may be disappointed. I would say this was a decent "tour" if you just wanted to go to the beach and have some good food. That can be achieved with the half day tour. I guess the Luminescent Plankton just depends on what day you go and your luck.
