Amazing! - Mark is an absolute legend! Thanks so much, Mark, really made a trip of a lifetime. The trip was amazing and couldn’t ask for more. Was perfect for both solo adventurers, couples or mother/daughter etc. and our group of 12 had the perfect mix of all ages and backgrounds! Accommodations and food were great. Everything very well organised and a great tempo for squeezing so much in but not feeling tired.

Very enjoyable trip getting to see and do so much - Myself and my friend completed the 5 Day Garden route tour with Earthstompers in Jan. it was an ideal way to see the Garden Route and so much more, we packed in so much into the week and got to see and so many lovely places. All the accommodations was fab, comfortable and clean with lovely food. A special mention to our guide Christine, she had so much knowledge of the area, was very accommodating to all our requests, coffee stops 😀, she also helped us organise onward travel. We had a fabulous experience from start to finish, plenty of laughs along the way. Would highly recommend, thanks again Christine

Get it booked! - My wife and I recently completed the Earthstompers’ 5-Day Garden Route trip and have to commend the company for packing so much into such a short period of time. Special praise should go to our guide Christine as her local knowledge really brought something extra to the trip and helped to keep us on schedule. There was still plenty of time to take those all important photos to remember the adventure. If you’re looking for a way to see the Garden Route without hiring a car this is perfect. It really contributed to a fantastic trip to South Africa and allowed us to see places we just wouldn’t have got to without a car or Christine’s experience of the route. Keep up the good work Earthstompers and thanks again Christine. 👍

Great Garden Route Tour - From beginning to end our tour of the garden route with Earthstompers was amazing. We met a great group of people.. and being the 'oldies' in the group never felt this mattered. Christine our guide was fantastic, she kept us on track every day and gave insight into all the places we visited. Accommodation and food on each of our stops was great. If you ever visit South Africa and would like to do a garden route tour don't hesitate to join an Earthstompers tour!! Thanks again Christine.

Pack more in with less to stress about. - Great itinerary with excellent local guide Gareth. Appealing mix of adventure activities and sightseeing. We enjoyed hiking in the national parks, biking to Cape Agulhas and we saw many animals in Addo Elephant Park including dozens of elephants. Our fellow travelers were delightful and the guest house accommodations were comfortable and quiet. It saved time and grief to leave the trip arrangements to the local experts. We highly recommend Earthstompers and Gareth.

Gorgeous Garden Route - After spending a week exploring on safaris at Kruger and Timbavati, we were ready to see another of South Africa's gems and found it south in Cape Town and along the Garden Route. We truly enjoyed seeing the penguins in a very natural, uncrowded, environment, away from all the tourists, (like on the Cape Peninsula site). We loved the seaside town of Hermosa, with its mesmerizing crashing waves. Sunset at Agulhus was beautiful, where the two oceans meet. Our guide at Oudtshoorn was very informative about the ostriches, but the "game drive" there was a bit lacking after seeing Kruger! We loved the canoe/hike activity to the waterfall in the lovely national park, and our son even bravely completed the bungy jump along with two other guests on our tour! His wife and dad and I were happy to just be on the bridge with him and watch! The lodging facilities were very nice along the route, and we especially liked the first one, with the brai bbq inside and the funky bar area. Seeing the many elephants at the waterholes at Addo was awesome, they are so interesting to watch. We luckily saw a lot of other wildlife as well. Having time to spend sampling local wine at a vineyard and walking on the beach was nice too, as this is such a beautiful area of South Africa. I can't say enough about our very upbeat, responsible, and friendly guide/driver Rochelle. She really made the trip fun and worthwhile. I was also grateful that our group of 12 had six people our son and daughter-in-law's ages, and six our ages! Everyone was happy! There is quite a bit of driving on this tour, but the places you end up in each night were worth it. Many thanks!
