Great trip, but dont forget to take sun shade such as hat or umbrella an water - We went with a guide engaged by TUI Alexander who was amazing, he was very knowledgeable all day, happy to answer questions. The minibus collected us on time, it was air conditioned and roomy. We picked up a further 2 couples and went to Tulum ruins. They are stunning but due to the dead heat and lack of shade an early start is needed. You need to take in water but they do not accept plastic bottles so be aware. Wear a hat or take an umbrella to shade you from the sun. After the tour you get a further 60 mins to explore but often people use this to take phots and stroll back towards their vehicles to get gifts or a drink from the local sellers. We next went to a Maya village and learnt to bake a tortilla which was great fun and a little competitive if you a good chatty group which we were , we then went and drank red tea and each local fruit produce. Although this is included in the cost we did tip as money can assist the village. The cenote was at the village, we showered under the trees and walked down about 15 -20 steps, be careful when wet. The cenote was fresh (bloody cold) but lovely, with fish and bats flying around. Plenty of time here and not pushed from guide to finish quicker. a great day out, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We also received chilled water, as many as we needed, Mexican pizza bread and cake which was just nice.

Tulum Ruins is a must visit site when travelling in Mexico - Having been to Mexico on 20+ occasions and visited many ruins, the TULUM RUINS are our favourite. The small beach that can be found at the TULUM RUINS, is one of my favourite beaches I have ever been to, it is a rather small—ish beach, but very picturesque. Once you arrive to the TULUM RUINS, you can simply walk all the way in to the site, but I would recommend taking the local transport “tractor, and cart” all the way into the ruins for a few dollars as it can be a very long hot walk on the way in. Note: On Sunday it is open to all the locals so it will be a very busy day, I would recommend going any day except on Sunday in order to enjoy your leisure few hours on this site, I believe it is a must visit site. If you are going to site via a paid tour, you might have to stay there a few more hours than you wished you had, I would highly recommend a taxi, so you can leave at any time once you are done….. Safe travels

Ruins at Tulum - Tulum is a great historic place to visit. The ruins were very cool and mostly well preserved. We did this as part of a day tour to several places. Tulum itself was worth seeing but we only had a half hour at the actual ruins. Still it was great to see

It was a great day but short - This excursion was beautiful but very rushed. Felt like we were given tiny windows to enjoy things that should've been longer. Lunch was good and our tour guide Jorge was awesome! Just would've liked more time at each location, especially the market.
