Don’t hesitate and book with these guys - Highly recommend this trip. Good value for money and a lot of fun. - Great snorkelling (although we didn’t see too much in terms of fish). The guys also help those like myself who are not strong swimmers. - constant flow of drinks, I always had a margarita in hand - well organised and great fun - friendly and helpful guides - lunch was average, similar to any other large buffet - could have done with a little longer on Isla mujeres (maybe about 1 hour more) but that’s just preference.

A fantastic day even for solo travelers - I decided to go on this tour alone while my husband had a nearby conference to attend. Initially I was a bit apprehensive whether I would still enjoy the day. I have to say, that the entire tour was executed to perfection! While you book with Cancun Adventure Team it is actually "Star Blue Catamaran" who are running this full day trip to Isla Mujeres. I cannot say enough good things about Fernando, Andrea and Elias who made sure that everyone was safe at all times and so well taken care off. The sweet staff was courteous and friendly. They were very attentive and made sure each guest had exactly the drinks from the open bar they wanted at all times. The team was also highly supportive and when we stopped for our first snorkeling at the underwater museum they even helped a few non-swimmers by making them hold on to a life ring and gently guiding them through the water. So everyone could enjoy the marvelous underwater world. I thought this was an outstanding service. Andrea kept taking photos which would later be offered for sale. I wish they would have been more clear and upfront about that in the beginning so folks could opt in or out. But that is the only minor suggestion I have in an otherwise amazing trip. Later on in the tour we tried spinnaker parasailing which sadly did not work out due to a lack of wind and we went for a second swim closer to the island. Lunch was basic and totally ok when you remember what you paid for the trip. Isla Mujeres is not a quiet idyllic island but a hopelessly overrun tourist machine at least during the day when many tours invade the island - it gets crowded. That hold true for the lunch spot on the middle of the island and even more so for the second stop at the North Beach. To get away from the crowds take a stroll down Avenida Adolfo López Mateos and enter the small graveyard on the left. Explore. Mexican graveyards hit differently. Turn into Avenida Vincente Guerrero where you will soon find the Market Halls on your left. Few tourists venture to this local market. Continue on that street till you hit the Immaculate Conception Church and enter it for a few peaceful minutes. Keep to your right to get back onto the main road (Avenida Rueda Medina) from where you started again. The crowds at Playa Norte were too much for me and I was glad to be back on the catamaran to enjoy the tour back. I enjoyed the balmy breeze, the blue skies and the drink on hand. I would like to thank everyone at Blue Star Catamaran for making this a wonderful, wonderful trip. Many thanks once again to Fernando who kept the group looked after and entertained throughout as well as deserves a special mention for the fastest Spanish speaker I have come across so far effortlessly switching between English and his native tongue. The team's achievement is even more impressive if you remember that the staff does these long crazy day trips day in and day out during the season with few breaks in between. Yet they are kind and engaging. 10 stars!!

Totally worth it! - We had a great time on the catamaran and on Isla Mujeres. We danced on good music and made memorable memories and new friends. Fernando was very fun and a caring host. We also enjoyed all the free tequila shots haha we recommend this tour!

Highly recommend this catamaran experience! - We had the best time on this tour! They picked us up and dropped us off right on time. The catamaran had plenty of room and offered great views. Snorkeling was easily a highlight, so fun and you can see so many fish and the sculptures! They made sure we had drinks the whole time we were on the boat. We loved the island and additional swimming time too. Will definitely do this again!
