Second time n Chichen Itza - It was my second trip to Chichen Itza since September 2022. This time the purpose of the tour was to show Mayan Pyramid to my fiancée, and with no doubt i chose Amigo Tour. Our driver Jairo and guide Juan were a great team! Thanks to them the road was safe and entertaining! I loved the jokes from Juan - he is a talented guide! At the Chichen Itza by some magical coincidence Rodrigo was my guide for the second time! And I want to say that he is just wonderful in this job! Both times with him I was amazed by all the activities and information! Highly recommend Amigo tour and the aforementioned team for your trips!

Wonderful tour, but not without issues... - We really enjoyed our tour! We loved our guide "Little Juan" he was hilarious and kept us engaged while sharing a wealth of information. Swimming in the cenote was a fun and unique experience, and the buffet lunch that was provided was actually really good food - lots to eat! We could have used an extra 30 minutes for the whole cenote experience as we felt a little bit rushed to change in and out of swimsuits, swim, eat, and do the tequilla tasting, however overall still a good experience and a great tour of Chichen Itza. We did have a slight problem at the beginning of our tour however... we paid for the "VIP Tour with hotel pick up and drop off." I got a text two days before the tour confirming my hotel name and address, as well as pick up time of 7:50am. I also got a text the morning of the tour confirming that I would be picked up outside of my hotel lobby at 7:50am. We were outside and waiting at 7:45am. At 8:10am I got a text that said my pick up had been deleted, and I could either find my own transportation to a different pick up location or re-schedule my tour for another day. We already had prior commitments for the other days of our vacation, so re-scheduling was not an option. I had to pay for an uber to another hotel in order to make it to the tour on time. I have reached out for a refund for transportation costs and have not gotten a response yet at the time of this review. Again, overall we still really enjoyed the day and having an amazing tour guide was a huge part of that! We would do it again, however maybe just don't pay extra for the "VIP hotel pickup" that might actually get canceled....

50/50 - 👍 tour guide....Frank. Awesome cenote time. Interesting ruins. No Valladolid 💩 even though was in the tour. Tequila testing??? They gave 2 flavor a tiny bit even a full shot. The guy that was serving it had a bad attitude. So please be honest on ur description.

Terrible experience - I paid for the VIP package that includes pick up from my hotel. The day of the trip my family waited outside the lobby for half an hour but the bus didn’t arrive. After texting them I was told there was an error in their system (even though I received a confirmation with specific pickup time the day before) and we need to go to another pick up point by ourselves. I paid $300 Uber to get there. When we got on I found because the only seats available were in the last row next to toilet. I saw some seats in the front were blocked and asked if they were available. I was told No because of some insurance issue. However later I found out the seats were made available to another family getting on after us. I also noticed while the booking says up to 45 people in each group, in our group there were 53 people. Our trip was kind of ruined for the beginning (the smell was particularly bad on the way back)! I requested refund for the missed pickup and no response received!
