Go ahead and book - Darwin was wonderful. Tons of info before we met, and thoughtful during. We saw so many turtles as well as stingrays. And his awareness of what was best for the wildlife was felt throughout. We were a family of 4 with two boys - 14 and 11. All good swimmers and felt pretty physically pooped by the end. Would totally recommend DarwIn to any family who wants a real snorkeling excursion.

Absolutely incredible, a highlight of our holiday - We knew we wanted to snorkel at Akumal and chose this particular trip based on recent Trip Advisor reviews. We were so pleased we did! Darwin was super friendly and knowledgeable and we had an amazing experience. We saw 7 + turtles, rays and other marine life, with the turtles coming up for air right next to us. Darwin captured some great photos and videos with his GoPro which were emailed the following day. We chose the 8 am slot to have the turtles to ourselves - it was definitely worth the early start from Tulúm as the beach was full of snorkelers by the end of our 55 minute tour. Would thoroughly recommend Darwin if you want a truly personal and memorable experience with these beautiful creatures.

Fabulous Experience - Darwin and Marlene were lovely guides, making it all easy; good contact via whats app, help to find and park car, shaded space on beach.. Swimming with turtles was so special. Great to know they also have private space away from us humans. Also sending us photos and videos of much of our time with the turtles. Wow! Thank you!

A great time had with turtles - private tour with Darwin - A fantastic experience. We returned to Mexico 9 years after our first visit to come to Akumal and swim with turtles. We found Darwin though Facebook, and he is 100% recommended. A super friendly guy who helped and advised. He is super knowledgeable. Darwin met us at 8am for the beach opening (the perfect time imo), and we spent about 50 minutes in the water, seeing 12 turtles on the way plus loads more. I would recommend Darwin over any excursion you find with your travel company every day of thr week. Thanks Darwin - we will be using you next time we come to Mexico!

Wow wow wow! - Underwater sea life was amazing. Incredible to swim so close to the turtles. Guide was informative and and felt like a friend. Felt very safe, and privileged.

A wonderful experience - The tour was superb, Darwin was a very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient guide. He really knows his atuff and he really cares. The organisation and communication was excellent. We saw some fabulous turtles, stingrays and fish, and Darwin always seemed to keep us away from other groups. Darwin is the best! - I was struggling this cold morning surg my underwater camera and snorkel mask, but Darwin put us all at ease, he got excellent photos of us and our encounter we never would have got! I recommend you bring just yourself, relax and let Darwin handle the logistics, he'll make sure this is more than a worthy adventure, we got to see so much more than we anticipated! Darwin is a gem of a person!

private, beautiful, a lot of turtles and the best experience - it was a great experience! everything was well organised by marlene. i received the location to park and the meeting point by maps, so it was easy to find both. i higly recommend a private tour, because with 10 other people surrounding you, its hard to see something in the water. the tourguide darwin found a lot of turtles and stingrays we could swim with :-). i didn´t had a cam, but darwin made beautiful pictures and videos while i was snorkeling the the animals. it was worth a great tip for my professional guide, darwin. one of the best eperience on my tour accross yucatan.

The best swim with the turtles tour company!! - The experience our family had snorkeling with Darwin as our guide was more than we expected. It first started with communication msgs several days prior to our adventure and instructions on how to bypass all the other parking vendors and park closest to entrance where we were met by our guide Darwin. Darwin was very helpful ensuring we knew how to use snorkeling gear and previewed what we might see and how to communicate in the water. We saw many sea turtles plus stingrays and other tropical fish as Darwin knew where to find them. The photos and videos he took were priceless for our family.
