Great Historical Site - Beautiful and worth seeing. We used the steps from the beach. If you are not used to step climbing--you may want to choose a tour.

Visit to Tulum, Cenotes, Playa Del Carmen - Overall experience is good. Very comfortable ride, and excellent guide. However there is room for improvement-ride pickup takes too long and waiting for some guests who don’t show up on time, makes you wait causing delays.

Like I told you sunscreen, repellent (not brand off) and water bottle not the supermarket if you don't want to spend mu - The tour was good but very long you can't do much because you have to do everything fast and I think the ceremony they do after the meal is over I see it a bit commercial bone to sell. Bring bottles for water because they sell them for $5 dollars to get into Tulum mine I will keep souvenir or for when I return ;)

Tulum Ruins - The ruins themselves are very neat to see, however the recently added cost of the Jaguar Park makes the experience less than desirable.

Good tour but Wish we spent more time at Tulum - This was well organized. Through Ekinox Tours. The tour guide was Luis Estraya. We were picked up at the meeting point ((Smart Oasis on Tulum). The shuttle picked us up at 8:45 AM, it was scheduled for 8:10. This is fine. We got to the bigger bus that was waiting for us. Seating was scramble seating, my wife and I managed to sit together but it was on the row of 5 seats in the back. Fortunately, all of the other people sitting in the back were in good shape, so we each had enough room. I wish it could have been assigned seats though. The bus was full with about 29 people. The bus had AC, but no washroom. Luis made sure we all did washroom breaks for each stop. Our first stop was Tulum. We only spent 2 hours there. One hour with the guide, 30 minutes of our free time, and 20 minutes to get back to the meeting point. We just wish we spent more time there, as the cenote was nice, but not the reason we went. We spent about 3 hours at the cenote for swim and lunch. . I brought my own lunch, but my wife paid the extra 18usd for the buffet. The time at playa del Carmen was 2 hours. My wife and I just walked down to the beach because we didn’t need to do any shopping. The tour guide gave the tour in English and Spanish. He kept the time well and answered all our questions.

Viator.. do not book - I would not book any tour through viator again. It was extremely hard just to get the meeting point and the time from the agency taking us. Although they did email me about 8 hours before the excursion, it was a headache. Everyone on the tour got wrist bands for a free buffet however, viator did not offer that option. 100 percent recommend the tour it was awesome but do not book through here, majority of other couples on the bus said they booked at their hotel and/or Expedia
