The guide Mauricio was at all times very kind and explained us in detail about Mayan culture, the buffet was delicious, with variety and abundant (drinks not included but available there) the cenotes were amazing, the overall instalations were very clean, the staff very nice. Due to climate inconveniences we weren't able to swim with turtles but we were informed and got a refund. The driver José was very responsible. Overall it was a great experience, totally worth it!

Great Tulum-Turtles tour with Mauricio - We did the Ekinox Tulúm-Tortugas excursion and we loved it. It was all beautiful and it certainly helped a lot that our guide was Mauricio. We loved the enthusiasm with which he explained his culture. If you are in Rivera Maya, don't miss this excursion and ask for it to be with Mauricio, you will not be disappointed. 👍

Excellent balance of history, natural wonders and then there are the turtles … - The professional tour leaders Moo and Estrella plus Moises and Carlos the driver were amazing. Moo’s knowledge about Mayan history coupled with his language skills (moving effortlessly back and forth between English and Spanish) are all impressive. Estrella’s knowledge at the Cenotes about Mayan language and stones was well presented. Carlos navigated difficult dirt roads and Moises efficiently got me to the turtle swimming point and back to the rest of the tour. Transfers. The initial transfer to the main bus took longer than expected but I am sure the logistics of getting all of us from different hotels to the same place is a challenge. Patience. It is worth it and the team did a great job. Also going home they had to track down a lost passenger but they all did it with a lot of patience. This is a long day for us but even longer for all the staff. As for the tours. I don’t want to give away too much because some things are better left as part of your personal experience The Tulum Archeological site was my least favorite part because so many other tourists and construction going on. But we had a fabulous presentation by Moo before on the bus that continued on our walk in the ruins. Once we got to the cenotes that is when all the best things started to happen. Swimming, bats, buffet, Mayan artistry. Then swimming with turtles. Ecological, biological, magical.

Recommended complete day trip near Playa del Carmen. - Very good option for a complete day trip near Playa del Carmen. You can see Mayan ruins (Tulum), you can enjoy two less crowded cenotes in a secluded environment in the jungle and you can snorkel in Akumal, swimming with turtles and fish. Furthermore, we really enjoyed David, our guide that day, an excellent professional, kind, funny and attentive. 100% recommended!!

Worthwhile trip to Tulum & turtles in Akumal - The entire tour is recommended and very well organized. "Susi" was our guide in Tulum and gave us excellent information about the history. There was also enough time for our own explorations. After the trip to Tulum we went to a cenote, which was impressive, like many other cenotes. We then went on to Akumal in our bikinis to go diving/snorkeling. Here things got a bit hectic for the first and last time and we were a bit rushed, but it was worth it. We were able to see some turtles in their natural environment - like other groups. Then we went to Playa del Carmen. Here we can recommend the Marquesitas stand when changing buses. Very tasty. A long and successful trip came to an end. We can recommend it at any time.

Good Tour - We really liked the organization and the guide David. It gave us time to enjoy Tulum and the cenotes in peace. The Mariposa cenote, the water looks crystal clear and is in the middle of the jungle. It is another very nice experience. The only negative thing was the food, since we don't really know what it was due to, but we think it was the water they offered us. By not being bottled. It made our stomachs feel very bad. Since that day at night and the next day we were bad. On other excursions we took, we met some of the people who had taken that same excursion and the same thing happened to them. We liked the swim with the turtles but there was a moment when a lot of people gathered to see them. In the Mayan town we were able to meet the Shaman who performed a purifying ritual for us.

Turtles but no turtles - We booked this trip to visit the Tulum ruins and swim with the turtles as a special treat for my wife. And a cenote visit. The ruins were very interesting in a stunning location. Getting to the cenote was an "experience" but once there they were good. The coffee show was interesting as was the village healer section. But even tho we had paid Trip advisor for this excursion we had to pay 350 pesos each extra when we got on the coach for the day?? Didn't like that as we thought we'd already paid in full when booking the trip. Any way the guide was good and did his best. But we felt the day was getting on and after the healer section and we got back on the coach (at approx 3.30pm? ) the guide said he'd heard from the Turtle people that it was to rough seas to do their bit?? Shame but the guide did give back the 350 peso each he'd taken in the morning fair play. He arranged transport back to our hotels for those who wanted too. Others went to do some shopping in Playa Carmen. All in we'd give this a miss next time. Not worth the day out. Try something else maybe.

Terrible - Very poorly organized tour. We spent more time on the trip looking for people than at the end. A half-day tour ended up becoming a full-day tour on the bus, without food
