Very nice tour - Very good experience on the Tulum-cenote-playa del Carmen tour, to the guides Angel, Carlos and Estrella and the very professional driver Esteban, you can see a lot of knowledge and passion for what they tell. As an opportunity I would probably leave an option of using a smaller bus fleet, since the passenger collection times are more than an hour, in general with all the tours. We got on the bus. 7:00 and the tour and trip from Cancun to Tulum started at 9. The rest is all spectacular

The best tour - Of the three tours we did, I think it was the most complete and the one we liked the most. Tulum is a place in an incredible natural enclave, you can even get an idea of how the upper class of the Mayans lived in this privileged place. Then the visit to a small town whose name I regret not remembering with two small cenotes, with very small groups of people that make you forget about crowds and located in the middle of the jungle, a luxury without electricity or piped water. And finally a swim among manta ray turtles and colorful fish on a paradisiacal beach. I don't want to fail to mention Kauil, also known as Stich, who was an excellent guide, attentive and helpful, who helped make the experience completely unforgettable.

It is again highly recommended - It is the 2nd essential excursion that we do again with Ekinox and I found it very well organized. The guides, this time Carlos and Luis, are very friendly, and they give you good information about the history of Tulum and shopping in Playa del Carmen, thanks to Carlos we brought a good tequila. The beautiful and perfect cenote to cool off after being hot in Tulum, and not at all crowded.

Fun-Filled All-Day Tour - I booked this tour online after reading positive reviews and comparing prices. We had a wonderful time on the tour, and it was a great value. We were picked up at our hotel at 7:50. Our selected time was 7am, but each hotel gets a different pick-up time, so be aware of that. They were supposed to send an email with the actual time, but I never received it. I was able to call to get the exact time and details. The bus was large, newer, and had AC. There was a toilet on board as well. Our tour guides, Ricardo and Alexis, were great, speaking Spanish and English very well. They were informative and entertaining the entire trip. They spoke on the bus, explaining all the details of the tour, and they also spoke at the different sites. Tulum: The tour broke off into two groups for Spanish and English speakers. Alexis was of Mayan descent and went into a lot of detail about their beliefs and traditions. He talked about the architecture and how the cities were built. I got so much more out of the ruins understanding what I was looking at. He also gave us time on our own to wander around and take pictures. The views are amazing! Cenote: Each cenote is different, and villages charge admission as a way to support themselves. We went to the Mariposa Cenote, which felt like a remote jungle. It didn't feel "touristy" to me at all. Before entering, we had lunch. It was traditional Mexican food and was surprisingly delicious! There were a lot of choices (selected prior to arrival), and there was a bar for an extra charge. The bar served the best mojito in Cancun. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it. After lunch, we showered and entered the cenote. It was beautiful with crystal clear, cool water, a rock grotto, and swings for pictures. We had to wear a life vest, which was not ideal, but they are just trying to avoid accidents. We loved the cenote and felt refreshed afterward. Before boarding the bus, we witnessed a blessing and cleansing ceremony from a shaman, which was very cool and unexpected. Playa Del Carmen: We had about an hour and a half of free time in Playa Del Carmen. We walked around town, went to the beach, and stopped for a drink afterward. It's a cool town, and it was nice to have our own time to wander. The tour was so much better than we expected. The bus dropped us off at our hotel around 8pm. We were both tired and happy. I highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommended - So glad to have done this tour. From the moment you are picked up to the time you are dropped off, everything is professional and fun. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The added extras of imparting their knowledge and anecdotes was great. A well organised day and would highly recommend this company.

Bad attention and attitude of the guide - We attended a Tour with Guide Álvaro and it was a terrible experience. For health reasons I was 20 minutes late (I accepted my responsibility for the delay and apologized, but the guide was in charge of telling all attendees that the delay had been my fault on more than 5 occasions in both Spanish and English even though no one had complained or exclaimed any discontent), I tried to ignore his constant reminder but again he rebuked that he had gotten up at 4.30am to arrive on time and that it had not been his fault (joking in English without knowing that I perfectly understood what he was saying). I was talking to American tourists. He changed the Tour to a different Cenote without warning because (he took me to Cana Mayte instead of Dzonot Wayak and he was in charge of minimizing the unattractive and lower quality food than what 'we are used to' to avoid high expectations when it should be On the contrary, the Regional Buffet type food was delicious and I let tourists see it as garbage). In the Archaeological Zone of Tulum I chose to hire an excellent Certified Tourist Guide and he helped us forget the bad attitude of the Eknx guide. Finally, I want to highlight that in Tulum an American couple was late for 15 minutes and on 5th Avenue a family from Spain was late for 20 minutes and the guy didn't report anything, he didn't show them off and much less make faces at them. A day before we had a tour with the same company but with Guide Chepe Moo that was spectacular and because of that we traveled on the second tour but what a disappointment we were with this malinchista, contemptuous and pseudo-Guía Álvaro guy.
