Amazing experience, fun tour guides! - Definitely one of a kind! We snorkeled to see underwater cenotes, a shipwreck, submerged sculptures, coral reefs and of course the vibrant marine life! Our guide Mauricio was fun, patient and knowledgeable. We had another tour guide (I believe her name is Ita) swim with us and take fun pictures underwater. The boat was steered by Juanito who was silent but efficient and ever so friendly! Pictures are available for purchase for a small fee. I initially received the wrong set of pictures but customer service was vwry prompt in assisting me. I definitely love the pictures! Absolutely 100% recommend them!

Beautiful calm snorkelling - This was a great trip for our family, it really was pitched at beginners with supportive team members and shallow waters. We saw lots of fish, coral, a turtle and sting rays. A really great trip that I would recommend.

Great snorkeling Adventure. - My husband and son went on this snorkeling adventure and had an amazing time. They saw a lot of great sea creatures, fish and turtles. They made great memories and we got wonderful pictures. This was only 10 minutes from our hotel, so it was not a long bus ride like some tours.

Great Snorkel experience - The team at Total Snorkel were great, what a great experience, Tikcay the guide was very attentive particularly to some of the weaker swimmers in the group. Manual the photographer was like a fish taking great memory photo's. The equipment was all in good shape, The Captain put the boat right on the best dive spots. The day we went was a bit choppy but once in the water it was amazing seeing all the different types of fish. When we got to the turtle spot we saw a couple of turtles right away, one even swam up to check out the new visitor's. The current was surprisingly strong at the turtle spot and at the ship wreck, so you have to be mindful of that. Overall it was a great experience and would certainly do it again with this crew.

Fun experience, but ocean was rough - We had a fun time snorkeling, but the ocean was rough that day, which made it difficult. We stopped at four different zones, and the second zone was a bit longer than the other three. After the second zone, we started feeling tired, since we were battling the wind and waves most of the time. The crew did an excellent job of watching over us and making sure everyone was doing ok. The lead crew member had a life ring with her which allowed some of us, especially the kids, to take a break when needed. I completely understand the company has no control over the condition of the ocean. A possible issue I have is the night before our excursion, I received a message from Total Snorkel Cancun saying "...tomorrow's activity may not be possible at your time or in the 2:30 PM time slot." There was no further explanation as to why it may not be possible. If it was weather related and we knew the ocean would be as rough as it was, we would have rescheduled for an earlier time. But because there was no further explanation, we kept our original time slot. All of that being said, our kids still had fun and we saw lots of fish, coral, and a turtle. I'm giving our experience a 4 out of 5, but it was a borderline 3.

Nice trip in calm weather - In itself it was a nice trip and interesting to see all the different animals. So we could also see rays and a turtle for the first time. Unfortunately it was very windy that day and the waves were very high, so we and some others from the group got a bit seasick. We've never had any problems with it. We also decided not to go to the last stop because of this and got off before. Would still recommend the tour to everyone, only in slightly calmer weather. The guides also took great care of everyone, especially those who had to deal with seasickness.

FUN IN THE SEA OR NOT - Very professional from pickup to drop off. Everything was well calculated, from the time of pickup to testing out the equipment to actually going out on the water. Captain and Guide were very attentive throughout our dive stops. WARNING: kids might enjoy in the beginning however I do not recommend they go as this takes a toll on the body and they may be over it after the first/second dive or get seasick. SECOND WARNING: this area can have strong waves and wind and will make the boat ride difficult to enjoy so avoid if prune to sea/motion sickness.

not impressed - I was collected at the right time and good communications but the rest of it I wasn't that impressed with. You have to pay extra when you get to the marina, admittedly the advert did say this. When we were testing our equipment before getting on the boat, it transpired that 2 of the women in the group could not swim !!!!!! One could not even put her face in the water. At this point they should have been refused entry in my opinion. Who goes on a snorkel trip when they cannot swim ?? One of the women decided to just come for the boat ride, the one who could just about swim had to be dragged around on the life preserver/ring and the other one just kept going off on her own. All 3 of them spoke very little english and no spanish. For the other 3 of us it felt like we were not getting a very good service. The whole thing felt rushed, from one place to the next with not a huge amount to see at each stop except for a lot of other people. A photographer came with us and at the end we were offered the pictures at an extortionate price. When I snorkeled on Caye Caulker I was emailed about 20 pictures for free. TOwards the end of the trip the boat driver/sailer kept talking about how the wages were low in Cancun and what a good job the instructor was doing and tips etc which I found awful. Having travelled around MExico, Guatemala and Belize for 6 weeks before coming to Cancun to fly home, this was the most expensive excursion I had been on and probably the least enjoyable.

Not worth the money - Hi, Our shuttle was scheduled for 8:35 We boarded at 8:32. When we arrived we were yelled at in Spanish and English to hurry up because our boat was leaving. The lady helping with lifejackets decided to call over "the manager" who then argued with me about being late, even though we boarded early. They continued to berate my 6 year old and I until we got on the boat, but not before throwing my life jacket on the bench telling me we wouldn't be going. While being yelled at, the photographer told us to smile for a photo which I declined so her and "the manager" started laughing about it. What a waste of money and valuable vacation time. The snorkeling was the worst I've ever done across the globe, so that didn't even make up for the chaos. As an industry professional, not impressed and would never recommend to my clients.
