Great snorkeling trip - I went on this snorkeling tour with my 2 children (8 and 10) with the guide Oscar. It was professional, fun and above all safe. He looked after the children very well and we all had a really great experience.

ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT - Wherever I travel I try to do a snorkeling trip. This so well organized. Small boats. 3 crew: a guide, ours was Oscar, a skipper & a photographer. 2.5 hours & 4 stops. A reef with cenets ( big holes like wells) further along the reef where the turtles feed (heaps of fish & I saw 3 turtles), some of the underwater sculptures and finally a partially submerged wreck. Before you go out they assess your swimming ability. As in - can you actually swim & do you really know how to use a snorkel. The ones that fail have to wear a life jacket the rest of us just had to wear an inflatable. The masks & fins were in good condition. This is a really great safety feature. More countries should do it. No sunscreen is allowed to be applied on the water & at the marina they only sell biodegradable eco friendly stuff. My back is the colour of a cooked cray. Undoubtedly it will start peeling & itching on the 16 hour flight home lol. There was a surprising amount & variety of fish considering the volume of tourists & how close it is to the city. It is the second longest coral reef after the GB. Great visibility. The trip was around $100 US & they sell the photo package also. The videographers are skilled. The most important thing to me is always numbers. There was o e boat out there that must have had 80 people on board. There were 7 on our trip. They have a good access ladder & something I have never encountered before- the tour guide flips off your fins just as you climb aboard.

Best snorkeling for sea creatures - This was one of the best snorkeling trips we’ve taken in terms of courteous crew and opportunity to see sea creatures. We were able to see turtles, barracuda, manta Ray, several types of fish species, a large starfish, and many conch. This was me the cenote, underwater structures, and shipwreck that were expected in the excursion. Crew was fast to help and point out unique creatures. Would highly recommend and would definitely go again!

Good excursion - It was a fun snorkeling trip except the weather wasn’t the best. The wind was causing quite a bit of waves and making a few of us quite sea sick. Otherwise it would have been a great excursion.

CAPTIAN STOLE MY WEDDING RING - While we were snorkeling in the water, the captain of the boat went through our bags in the closet, where they insisted they go.. and stole my wedding ring. Their boss said there was nothing he could do. I’ve been snorkeling many times before and this was the worst experience on top of the fact that their staff are thieves. YOU COULDNT PAY ME TO GO BACK
