Chichen Itza and Cenote - Jeromino was our guide and was so helpful in guiding our ride in and offering perspectives on how to spend our time at each place. The time at Chichen Itza should be at least 1 hour and for full effect 2 hours. We loved the cenote and was better for us to leave at 7:30 am from Cancun to have less crowds at both places. It got so busy by the time we left we were happy to leave when we did at both places. Get some deals at Chichen Itza on gifts but Jeromino also took us to a store that was pricer but better products and accepts credit card. Thank you Jeromino!

Very responsive, very friendly and informative - Really enjoyed the day with Pino, our private driver. He took us to the amazing Chichen-Itza, and got the tickets sorted for us. Recommend paying for a tour guide within the park ($40). Pino also took us to a wonderful Cenote to swim, which included a buffet lunch. It would have been great. Unfortunately our teen daughter was sick that day (NO fault of this tour company) and we had to cut our visit short. He was gracious, informative and flexible. The tour company was extremely responsive via email ahead of the trip, and not just on time, but early for pickup. High quality outfit all around. Recommended.

Awesome Experience - This was well worth the money. Michael was so kind and knowledgable and very helpful. We had a 4 month old with us and he made accommodations to help make everything easier. He was also helpful in finding a lovely place to eat. We cant say enough about how great this was.

Totally worth the price - Wow! So glad I decided to book this private day trip from Cancun to Chichen Itza. I am a single mom who took 4 “kids” who are in their teens/early 20s. Everyone had a great time seeing all of the sites at Chichen Itza. We also absolutely loved the stop at Ik Kil Cenote (see photo). I had almost decided to skip it because the Sacred Cenote at Chichen Itza was not that impressive. So happy that Carlos, our driver, told us it was one of his favorite places. It was truly one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. We all jumped in for a beautiful and tranquil swim. We booked the option with lunch, which is right at Ik Kil Cenote. The lunch was a buffet and very good. Our driver, Carlos, was fantastic. He was friendly, timely, helpful, and a great, safe driver. We left our hotel in Cancun at 7 AM. It does take nearly 2 1/2 hours to get to Chichen Itza. I would recommend leaving early because it does get very hot and crowded later in the day. Only complaint is really with Viator/ TripAdvisor. At the time I booked this tour, their was no mentioned of an additional $13/person ($65 in total) tax, which I was charged. I received no Customer Service support from TripAdvisor even though I have booked numerous tours through the site. The listing has since been updated to include a note about the additional tax.

Holiday - Best day ever but please book with your holiday rep. As some people in the hotel booked out side and by the pool they arrived very late and missed a lot of the tour

Chichen Itza - Long day but worth it. If you can afford private tour without all the trappings of shopping along the way it could cut a couple of hours. I am not a big shopper and unless you know your tequila, you may pay five to ten times what it really is worth. Chichen Itza history and the Mayan knowledge of astronomy, calendar, etc. was nice to refresh. Almost 2.5 hours drive each day was made more tolerant by our guide along the way.

Hot, but worth every moment - We visited the site in April 2018 and we had limited knowledge of the Mayan culture. The tour was an eye opener and was very well presented and the Mayan culture and traditions were explained to us in detail. All the structures are examples of a well developed and highly intellectual group of people. Some of the traditions might seem a bit savage in today's terms, but it was part of their general life. I will anytime recommend this tour.
