10 out of 10 Recommend - The experience was wonderful. The crew was extraordinary. I got lost at the beach and both the online reps and the tour guide went above and beyond to get me to the meet up spot. On the boat, the drinks kept coming (careful!) and the music was a vibe. Shoutout to the captain who steered with his feet! This snorkel experience in clear blue water was the highlight. I waved at fish like they were going to wave back lol. Thanks for the great experience! I'll be back with my family.

Fun catamaran experience - The crew was professional and assured our safety all while engaging and keeping the drinks rolling. The guide was very patient when assisting me with snorkeling being that it was my first time.

Great Isla Mujeres day trip - Great excursion! You grt to snorkel, have beach time and shop in the area. The catamaran ride was beautiful and unlimited drinks. The restaurant in town where we stopped was not good though.

Day tour to visit Isla Mujeres and snorkel. - We did the tour with the Albatross operator. We snorkeled and visited Isla Mujeres where we had lunch. The snorkeling is done at two points; the reef and on a sunken boat. The tour staff was very friendly. The tour itself was not bad, but Isla Mujeres seemed excessively crowded and a market for tourists. Honestly, we didn't think it was as good as selling it to you. But we went during sargassum and it was the way to find a beach without seaweed.

Women's Islands - The Catamaran Guide Tucan very friendly and patient and relaxed, but if you should give more free time in Islas Mujeres, only that.

Mexico: Natural beauty but tourist disillusionment/Between Caribbean dream and bitter reality - 🌴 Isla Mujeres & Cancún – A contrasting journey
A stay shared between wonder and disappointment.
On the one hand, a beautiful natural setting: sandy beaches, turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, and a fascinating archaeological heritage, witness to the richness of the ancient culture of the Maya.
On the other hand, a disappointing Welcoming for a country ranked among the most visited in the world. Upon arrival at the airport, we are oppressed by the pressure of taxis, without clear indications or practical information terminals. At tourist sites, explanations are mostly in English and Spanish, which limits accessibility.
➡️ In Isla Mujeres, some hotels offer a Service far below expectations, and the overall Mood does not fully inspire confidence. We feel the need to be constantly on guard, which hinders the serenity of the stay.
➡️ In Cancún’s hotel area, there is the unpleasant impression of a “tourist catcher”: exorbitant food prices, often disappointing cuisine in quality, not in harmony with the exceptional setting, and excursions displayed at excessive rates.
⚠️ You should also be very careful about scams: inflated prices for local crafts, sales of so-called “artisanal” but overcharged bottles of tequila, and a general impression that you should always negotiate and check before buying.
In short: a country discovered, but without any real desire to return. We regret the lack of efforts in tourism know-how, especially when the economy relies largely on this activity, even though the president shows the ambition to raise Mexico among the 5 most visited global destinations.

Good for drunks... - Definitely rejected this tour, starting from the departure where, taking the usual photo proof of presence, we were not called or waited even for a minute and then we had to pay extra transport costs. This time Hector Tour definitely did not work well.
Snorkeling: two fish but lots of butt, legs, vests. You can avoid taking the action cam underwater. Definitely happy open-bar lovers, bordering on falling into the water at the end of the day. A pool of hot water the docking of the Isla Mujeres apart from two beautiful photos taken of the pelicans resting on the pier poles, ... which like all the others I saw had bumpy planks and protruding nails. Security is certainly not the strong point of these areas.

DO NOT BOOK - Total 💩 💩💩 show
Overcrowded bus to the boat
Very slow and disorganised check in at the docks
Guide on board arrogant and rude little man with little man syndrome
Missed a very short slot to go for a snorkel swim
Little man snatches our life jackets and snorkels from us
Feedback from other swimmers saying overcrowding in water and unsupervised
Hidden extra was a choice of golf carts on the island or nothing to do for three hours
Food and drink on the island were total filth and an insult to Mexican culture
Boat ride to south of island was late and boarding was chaotic and disorganised again
Home bound journey was made to look like everyone was having a good time by trying to get everyone drunk and then trying to force everyone make tips
We told little man why we would not be tipping
