Cancun first timers - Great to spend a half a day! Highly recommend if you want to get an initial experience of the city. Fun way to spend a half a day!

Brilliant! - The guides are great, we laughed a lot and enjoyed more, we visited several markets to buy souvenirs. Brilliant!!!

A Positive New Perspective! - My wife and I have flown in to the Cancun airport a couple of times and then took a transfer to the Akumal area. We were told not to spend any time in Cancun for a number of reasons. So, that peaked my curiosity, and I had to see Cancun firsthand to make a decision for myself. As expected, I went online to see what city tours were available. Through Viator, I came across Cancun City Sightseeing and Shopping Tour On a Double Decker Bus. This tour was offered through Xightseeing Xcursions. My wife and I were staying near the airport and for a reasonable charge, this company was willing to pick us up. As we gathered other tourist, we ended up having a small but fun group. We were fortunate to have two excellent tour guides, Tony & Arturo! Both guides were very personable as well as knowledgeable of the area and it's history. The bus driver was amazing. I couldn't believe how well he maneuvered in & out of tight spots! The tour took us to the different neighborhoods of Cancun. It also stopped at two locations for Mexican handicrafts shopping. Having been to several locations in Mexico, I could have done without this part of the tour. Although. The second store offered a Tequila & Mezcal tasting. Arturo provided interesting information about these two beverages. There were times where we had to wait in traffic or for other reasons. But that was okay for my wife and I. We had nothing else planned for the day, and it gave us the opportunity to soak in Cancun. Overall, we had a very positive experience! It definitely changed our perspective of Cancun in a good way. Hopefully someday we can return for a stay in this city.

Stayed in the gifts shops too long to buy things. Shopping assistance is a little bit pushing sometimes. - There is plenty of information about the history of Mexico and kept us amused. With his funny jokes throughout the whole bus tour.

The Tour shed light on the Cancun Area. - The only Red Flag for me is being taken to a store for some shopping where people follow up everywhere you go. They need to find local stores where people don't make us feel like we're stealing.

Cancun City Open Bus Tour - Fun tour. Bus is very nice. Tour guide is very fluent in English/Spanish and funny too. Tour stops are mostly shopping/Souvenir type. Second place they stopped at (Plaza La Fiesta) was more reasonably priced for decor items, Wall art, etc.

Great Tour around Cancun! - The sightseeing tour was fantastic. Tony the compare and tour guide was very informative. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour around Cancun. His driver was a lovely guy and he gave you a handmade necklace when you entered the bus. Complimentary drinks included in the price. Stopped off to get souvenirs. Beware they take you straight into a jewellery shop and staff just pounced on you! You don't get a chance to look around to see what is there. Be firm, say no as daylight robbery. Try to sell you the earth and it's cheap tat. Stone already out of my ring. Dont be stung like we were!! Was looking forward to tequila tasting. Guy served us three tequilas didn't explain what they were. Left and served people buying gifts. Poor show lost out on a sale. Better info on a tequila bottle!
