GIZA PYRAMIDS MEMPHIS CITY AND SAKKARA PYRAMID
Cairo - Begins at 8:00 am with a pickup from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza by your guide to start the tour.
Pyramids of Giza - The Giza pyramid complex, also known as the Giza necropolis, in Egypt includes the Great Pyramid, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx. These structures were built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of ancient Egypt, around 2600 to 2500 BC. The site also features several temples, cemeteries, and the remains of a workers’ village.
The complex is located at the edge of the Western Desert, about 9 km (5.6 mi) west of the Nile River in Giza, and roughly 13 km (8.1 mi) southwest of central Cairo. It is the northernmost part of the 16,000 ha (160 km2; 62 sq mi) Pyramid Fields of Memphis and its Necropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. The pyramid fields also include the Abusir, Saqqara, and Dahshur pyramid complexes, all built near Egypt’s ancient capital, Memphis.
Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Saqqara (Arabic: سقارة, Egyptian Arabic pronunciation: [sɑʔːɑːɾɑ]), also spelled Sakkara or Saccara in English /səˈkɑːrə/, is an Egyptian village in the Badrashin county of the Giza Governorate. It contains ancient burial grounds of Egyptian royalty and served as the necropolis for the ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis. Saqqara is home to numerous pyramids, including the Pyramid of Djoser, also known as the Step Tomb, and several mastaba tombs. Located about 30 km (19 mi) south of modern Cairo, Saqqara covers an area of approximately 7 by 1.5 km (4.3 by 0.9 mi).
Memphis and Sakkara - Memphis (Arabic: مَنْف, romanized: Manf, pronounced [mænf]; Bohairic Coptic: ⲙⲉⲙϥⲓ; Greek: Μέμφις), or Men-nefer, was the ancient capital of Inebu-hedj, the first nome of Lower Egypt, known as mḥw (“North”). Its ruins are near the present-day village of Mit Rahina (Arabic: ميت رهينة) in Badrashin county, Giza, Egypt. This modern name likely derives from the late Ancient Egyptian name for Memphis, mjt-rhnt, meaning “Road of the Ram-Headed Sphinxes”.
Along with the pyramid fields that extend over a desert plateau for more than 30 km (19 mi) to its west, including the famous Pyramids of Giza, they are part of the World Heritage Site Memphis and its Necropolis. The site is open to the public as an open-air museum.

EGYPTIAN MUSEUM CITADEL AND KHAN KHALILI BAZAAR
Cairo - Begins at 8:00 am with a pickup from your hotel by an Egyptian guide to start your full-day tour.
Egyptian Museum - The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, commonly known as the Egyptian Museum (Arabic: المتحف المصري, romanized: al-Matḥaf al-Miṣrī, Egyptian Arabic: el-Matḥaf el-Maṣri [elˈmætħæf elˈmɑsˤɾi]) (also called the Cairo Museum), located in Cairo, Egypt, houses the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world. It contains over 120,000 items, with a significant number on display. Situated in Tahrir Square in a building constructed in 1901, it is the largest museum in Africa. Among its treasures is Pharaoh Tutankhamun’s collection, including his iconic gold burial mask, one of the most famous works of art globally and a prominent symbol of ancient Egypt.
Cairo Citadel - The Citadel of Cairo, or Citadel of Saladin (Arabic: قلعة صلاح الدين, romanized: Qalaʿat Salāḥ ad-Dīn), is a medieval Islamic fortification in Cairo, Egypt, built by Salah ad-Din (Saladin) and further developed by subsequent Egyptian rulers. It served as the seat of government and the residence of Egypt’s rulers for nearly 700 years, from the 13th century until the construction of Abdeen Palace in the 19th century. Located on a promontory of the Mokattam hills near central Cairo, it offers a strategic view overlooking the city and dominating its skyline. When built, it was one of the most impressive and ambitious military fortification projects of its time. Today, it is a preserved historic site, featuring mosques and museums.
Khan Al-Khalili - Khan el-Khalili (Arabic: خان الخليلي) is a renowned bazaar and souq in the historic center of Cairo, Egypt. Established as a trade center during the Mamluk era and named after one of its historic caravanserais, the bazaar district has become a major attraction for tourists and locals alike. It is also home to many Egyptian artisans and workshops producing traditional crafts and souvenirs. Historically, the name Khan el-Khalili referred to a single building in the area; today, it denotes the entire shopping district.
