A Journey Through Time: Brugge and Ghent

As a former university professor of European history, I have always been drawn to the rich tapestry of stories that weave through the continent’s ancient cities. My recent journey to Brussels, accompanied by my wife, was no exception. We embarked on the Brugge & Ghent Adventure, a full-day exploration of two of Flanders’ most enchanting cities, Brugge and Ghent. Our guide, Andres, was a fountain of knowledge, and his passion for history was infectious.

Our day began in the heart of Brussels, where we were greeted by Andres and a small group of fellow travelers.
