Additional Information
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate attire, as the tour is entirely outdoors.
  • Aim to arrive 5-10 minutes early at the tour rally point (1 Washington Street, 02108) for check-in and meeting your guide.
  • The tour will conclude where it started, at 1 Washington Street. Nearby, you’ll find lunch options at Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
  • Gratuities and museum admission are not included in the tour.
  • Midday Tours (1.5 hours) are available on Saturdays and holiday weekends, starting at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm. Private Tours are available upon request.
  • The Freedom Trail walking tour won’t enter individual historic sites, except for public parks and burial spaces.
  • Service animals are allowed, but pets can’t enter historic burial grounds due to city restrictions.
  • The tour is wheelchair and scooter accessible, but be prepared for narrow sidewalks and uneven surfaces.
  • Note that current COVID-19 restrictions in Boston require all tour participants to wear face coverings.
