Big Al pizza tour is a big win for your visit to Boston - Big Al was the absolute best. Couldn't ask for a better guide, with his knowledge and boundless humor and passion for his craft and the city of Boston, especially the North End. Great value as well, with the pizza and cannoli included.

Entertaining and Fun History and Food Tour - A great tour-- not too long, not too short and with some of the best pizza in Boston! And you get a delicious cannoli from Modern Pastry! Scottie was the best! He was very personable, funny, and gave us a lot of history I hadn't heard before on other tours. He also gave us some terrific eating places to check out as well as honoring his local firemen by letting us know about a t-shirt to buy to support the firemen's charity. We went right over after the tour and got to chat for a few minutes with these amazing first responders. And if you're wondering which pastry shop is better-- Mike's Pastry or Modern Pastry-- Scottie and the firemen said tourists go to Mike's but locals go to Modern.

An enjoyable tour for anyone! The wild flowers.. - This was a fun and informative tour. Our guide Scott had a great personality and shared his knowledge of the North end and more … He enjoys his Job and wants to make sure he doesn’t leave anything out . We were a group of seven women from the north shore area. I love that we did a local tour and learned many new things . Unfortunately thunderstorms followed us throughout the tour .We made the best of it. The pizza was a bonus , 3 different kinds throughout the tour. Maybe the best was the last because we had a relaxing glass of wine , and cannolis. All delicious. I would definitely recommend this tour for fun and anyone interested in knowledge of times gone bye… Thanks

Great pizza to microwave pizza. Not much history. - Not worth going if you want to learn about Boston history in full detail. This is an average tour we stopped at 3 pizza places 1 st location was great. Oldest wood burning fireplace in the country then went down hill fast. Last location was microwave pizza and a good pastry. I would not recommend this business. I fell there are probably better options available.
