Great trip and informative guide. - Great tour would recommend as Gaztelugatxe was amazing but you need good stamina for the incline to walk down to seafront but definitely worth the views.

Even though it was... - Even though it was raining heavily it was fantastic. Basically the weather made this mystic GOT feeling. I suggest dressing up with really good shoes, take a good rain poncho with you (the guide is well prepared with festival ponchos) and you should Not be a couch potatoe Person so that you can get up easily. Makingg more stops would be Great to take pics but also to inhale this incredible atmosphere. But with heavy rain you have to decide whether Go ahead or getting wet ☺️ Our guide Adur had incredible Historie knowledge and was fantastic in Storytelling. The small group of 5 was also fine. Highly recommaned!

Great trip! - Amazing places. Best day of our trip. Our guide, Pillar, was very instructive and helpful. We just needed a bit more time at Mundaka because this place was awesome.

Great experience - Friendly tour lady. Great experience! This could be a good day tour option for people arrive from the cruise. The tour lady is very mindful about the time restrictions and made a full day activities that are the highlight of the full trip.

Great tour and tour guide. Sensible shoes required. - Our guide, Victoria, was excellent. She was organized, knowledgeable and took care of us. She provided lots of interesting facts that gave us a much better appreciation for the sites we were visiting and the history and the culture of the people from this region. I enjoyed it and it was a great way to spend a day here. My only advice if you take this tour is to wear comfortable shoes and expect some step climbing uphill.

Hard work but very rewarding - In fairness, the tour guide Arturo (sp?) told us Gaztelugatxe was going to be tough. This said, being ambulant disabled, I doubt I would have set off had I known exactly HOW tough. Still, nice day for it and very rewarding to reach the church. Also pleasing to see much younger, able-bodied people struggling even MORE than me 😁 Mundaka was a pleasant little fishing/surf village which also involved a fairly steep up and down walk but, again, the weird tidal nature of the the river up to a certain point upstream with waves breaking off at odd angles creating different beaches was fascinating. Seems inconceivable the local authorities can be considering building ANOTHER Guggenheim in such a beautiful spot. Final stop at Gernika. As bit of a history buff I was rather ashamed to realise I had absolutely NO knowledge of this atrocity and Arturo was able to bring the story to life through his grandfather who had been 7 at the time of the attack. ANOTHER lengthy walk - although mostly on the flat this time - to see Picasso’s famous & very interesting artwork by the same name - Geurnica - before continuing to see the Basque oaks and what was left of the old town, then staggering back back onto the bus for the final time and heading back to Bilbao.

Review - While the locations were beautiful and the tour guide excellent I would not recommend the tour with the current timeframes - it is too rushed. Throughout the day the focus was on time. Extra time is required at each location. There is considerable walking throughout the day and the walk back to the bus at the first stop is extremely tough and in my view severe. There was no time to get refreshments on your return. There was a very short break for lunch at the second location. No time to recover from the extensive walking. At any tour there is usually personal time to enjoy a location - this did not occur on this tour.
