Navigate through Bilbao’s fascinating sites by traversing its historic district! Accompany our local guides to uncover every mystery that this iconic city conceals, gaining insight into its architecture and its residents.
Starting from the boundary of Old Town and Downtown, you’ll explore the winding streets of Old Town, passing through the original seven streets and the churches of San Anton and Santiago, making sure to visit the La Ribera market. Later, witness the city’s expansion during the 19th century under the impact of industrialisation and the growth of banking, followed by the city’s recent modernisation with the construction of the riverside promenades.

Great tour - Very informative. Guide was friendly, courteous, nice and answered all questions knowledgeably. She had a great attitude and made the tour very enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour. Worth your time.

Enjoyed it - The guide is knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the history of the city. Small group as promised. We went mostly the center of the old town. The pace can be a bit faster.

Extensive knowledge of Bilbao City - We had a private tour for just my husband and i as we were the only at 4pm today. The knowledge of Miguel Aranburuzabala was spectacular not obly about history of Bilbao, the Euskadi language but about the history of politics. We were able to ask questions about our interests in this Vasque country which he could abswer. He is very amicable and educated. We really enjoy the tour

Personal and Excellent - Our guide was Fantastic!! He provided stories, cultural information, and history at the expert level of someone who had both studied and lived the experience. He encouraged our questions, customized our experience, and was warm, friendly, and responsive. On our tour we passed a few larger, more typical tour groups and I felt so lucky to have the experience we were having. I give this tour the best recommendation possible!

Incredible experience in Bilbao - Stroll around the city with a knowledgeable guide and passing by the old quarter. The guide José Martinez was passionate about the city and the culture of the Basque Country and gave us precious information.

Very informative tour with friendly staff - Victoria provided a very informative tour on the history of Bilbao. The tour went ahead even though it was very rainy. The theatre was east to take a taxi to from the bus station. We also got to see the indoor market, walk along the river, and check out the pinxtos bars.

Jose did a fantastic job... - Jose did a fantastic job introducing us to Bilbao, explaining about Basque Country life and the impact of the wars and the storms on people’s lives. I enjoyed walking the streets of the old city and seeing and learning about the theater.
