Best Deals in LA - Mohamed was absolutely amazing! He gave me and my 3 daughters the best deals and we had so much fun! We visited him twice so far and truly enjoyed our conversation! So much fun and a great sense of humor! Highly recommend!

The blue line that stopped running in the afternoon - Already yesterday took the blue line to Universal Studios, so that as for the next day know. That worked out well, the driver even gave us 5 min to take photos before continuing. This morning with the blue line left the Chinese Theater pretty punctually at 10am, but this driver didn't say anything about the individual stops, the driver the day before had done that, so we already had the information. After visiting the studios, we wanted to take the bus back at 4pm, but it didn't come. It could happen, we thought. Then we take the 5pm bus, the last one for that day. But he didn't come either. On request at getyourguide, they said the blue line was discontinued in the afternoon, according to the operator. No info about it in the morning... Eventually we had to go back by taxi. Supposedly, because we had booked for 3 days hop on hop off, we should get a partial amount back, also because the purple line could not be offered at all.. We'll see about it...

Interesting audio but long wait between buses - We did the 3 routes during 2 days : honestly we could have skip the downtown route ( purple) too long , it was more than 2.5h and less interesting than the other 2 . Lots of waiting during the day between buses ( stop #7 and #1 where you change bus) . We didn’t have time to visit the Griffith observatory . The drivers were friendly and helpfull and the audio tour guide was interesting . Recommend the red & yellow route but know that you are going to wait for the bus when changing route and there are no sign and you have to wave the driver so he stops .

problems with commentary and tatty busses - We took the City Sightseeing bus tour of Los Angeles (one day ticket allowing any 2 routes to be used). We did the Red & Yellow routes. On our first bus the commentary didn’t work (many others agreed). I spoke to the driver who said the system showed all was fine, but no-one on the upper deck appeared to have sound. On our 2nd and 4th bus I tried 3 headphone outlets before finding one that worked. Generally the buses were tatty. The commentary was very limited and didn’t mention several significant buildings we passed and was often out of sync with the location. The service was not frequent and there were some significant gaps during the day limiting the use of the hop-on hop-off concept. We have taken advantage of city bus tours in many countries over the years, but without doubt this was the poorest as well as one of the most expensive.

Service increasingly poor - How can I enjoy the convenience of hop on hop off when the first bus leaves at 11am and the last bus leaves at 5pm? Although announced was the first bus at 9:15 (yellow line). The journey times are arbitrary and the stops are not marked. Also, the buses are partly very old. The only plus point are the very friendly staff at the front.

Buses not on time, not enough buses on routes. Wasted half the day waiting around. - We booked with these people and found it to be very poor. We booked a 1 day pass. We wanted to go from Santa Monica to Beverly Hills and change route to go on to Hollywood. The 1st bus at 9.30am didn’t arrive so us and a lot more passengers were left waiting until a bus finally arrived at 10.20. The bus tracking app also wasn’t working so we couldn’t even tell if the buses were running. Once we finally got to stop 7 to changes busses there was no red route bus. We had to wait another 40 minutes for a bus. Again coming back from Hollywood the busses were not on time and had to wait 30 minutes for a bus. Spent most of our day waiting for buses.

Do not book this company - The 2.20pm bus that was scheduled was joined with the 3.05 bus we waited an hour to move anywhere. Took 2 1/2 hours to arrive at Santa Monica from Hollywood stop 1 because of the wait. Staff not entirely truthfull, making out the driver went early. Tatty buses, rude staff and commentary out of sync. The worst hop on hop off we have ever experienced. Save your money because you won’t feel confident getting off to look at anything incase you can’t get on the bus you want to return. They finish 4.30 too. Our 9.30am bus didn’t turn up until 10am, when you ask why, they pretend they can’t speak English. So a very limited time to look at anything taking into consideration the gaps of buses not turning up and traffic. Wished we had worked out the local buses before booking as they are loads. Wish we had read reviews. The management should hang their heads in shame at this disgusting service, spiking people’s holiday. Many on the routes were in agreement. We feel robbed.

Worst hop on hop off experience - The worst hop on hop off we have ever been on. Dirty seats Audio system didn’t work on the 1st bus, we asked the driver , he said audio starts after 15 minutes of leaving . We changed seats after 20 minutes as audio worked on them . On the 2nd bus the audio didn’t work at all on top back part of the bus nor on left aisle of the lower deck. We again asked the driver who said he can’t do anything about it. Marking of bus stops non existent . Buses do Not stop at all stops unless specifically requested! To request this you have to be on the bus . However if you are waiting on the curbside ( at the stop marked on the map) you have to hope that the driver wishes to stop. Had 2 situations where the bus driver did Not stop at all! So Wait for another 45 minutes for the next bus!! Frequency of buses is 45 + minutes and is not 25 -30 minutes as on other tours eg Big Bus . We have taken the big bus tour in NY , Chicago, San Francisco and many other places, it is much much better, we faced none of above with them
