Perfect day for family cruise one day stop - Really great design of the trip bend with the animal farm, snorkel and breathtaking beach front break. Plus our driver was wonderful and the tour was amazing. Highly recommend.

100+ stars - If I could give this tour 100 stars I would! Angel was an amazing tour guide- he told us about the island, its origins and its cultures! He made us feel very welcome and safe the entire tour! The snorkeling over the reef and shipwreck was amazing!! The best snorkeling I’ve ever done full of beautiful fish and coral!! We got to spend some time on a quiet beach before he picked us back up and escorted us to AJs where we got to see sloths and play with the monkeys! He was beyond helpful and full of knowledge even taking photos for us! He spoke of traditional Honduran dishes and shared some conch with us which was delicious and unlike anything we’ve had. When we find our way back to the island we hope to have angel as our guide :)) book this excursion you will have 0 regrets!!

This was a fantastic tour... - This was a fantastic tour in beautiful Roatan. We all (our kids, in particular) enjoyed spending time with the animals at AJ's, especially the sloths and the monkeys. The snorkelling was amazing, and the time spent afterwards at the idyllic Brady's Cay was perfect. It was just what we were hoping for. Angel was a brilliant tour guide - attentive, knowledgeable, kind, interesting and interested. Highly recommended.

Best Tour Company! - We had so much fun snorkeling! This was the highlight of our cruise. We were a party of 6 and loved that we chose to do our excursion privately without other cruise ship passengers. Fabian and Fabian Jr. were excellent guides. We felt safe, welcomed and loved hearing about the history of Roatan as we drove to our destination. We hope to come back again one day and will use Roatan Breakaway Tours! Your island was so beautiful and we were so pleased with choosing to support your family run company to guide us for the day. Highly recommend Roatan Breakaway Tours! 5+ stars!

SIMPLY THE BEST!!!! - I decided against the cruise excursion and opted for Roatan Breakaway Tours. Communication was great and Ford picked us up exactly where were instructed to meet him. This tour has several moving parts. First we went to AJ’s Monkey and Sloths. They were great and you get to really interact with their animals. Next we went to Brady’s and were immediately offered refreshments. The gentlemen who guide the tour spoke English, Spanish and maybe Portuguese or Italian? They were very knowledgeable and kind. It was a great experience. The guides (I honestly don’t remember their names) found several marine animals and allowed us to hold them. The boat driver was professional and great. As residents of Florida, going to the beach was no big deal. So, Ford, our tour guide, took us to a wonderful authentic roatan lunch. The food was great. Then he brought us back to the boat. I rarely ever write reviews, but the professionalism of Ford and Breakaway Tours was amazing. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity.

Amazing tour-3 excursions in one! - 5⭐️ from start to finish! I had a lot of questions and Roatan Breakaway Tours was amazing, Lashan Collins was so communicative via email & helped w my concerns re my friend’s mobility issue. We were met @ the port pick up spot, traveling with friend who has mobility issues & via email suggested take $4 cab ride up the hill to get to meeting point, which we did. The port hill is manageable for average people but my friend has a bad knee. We were met by a lovely guide, Kessie. She drove us to our first stop & waited for us. First stop was adorable AJs petting zoo where we were able to interact with guinea pigs, a sloth, exotic birds & capuchin monkeys. You can take your own photos and/or purchase a full digital package for $30. Kessie then drove us to our next stop, snorkeling! We were first to arrive so they took us out in the boat, captain and guide, we had a private snorkeling tour since we arrived early! Words cannot express how amazing the snorkeling was! The guide helped my friend who has a bad knee (and is 80 years old!) to a great snorkeling experience, he showed us amazing sea creatures and even let us touch a sea urchin & conch shell with a friend inside! The captain was so helpful & diligently stayed near while we drift snorkeled! We were then dropped off @ Brady’s Cay private island! We literally did not want to leave! Brian greated us immediately and showed us to comfy lounge chairs under umbrellas overlooking this amazing private beach including water swing and a very secluded, shallow water area. Perfect for small kids or anyone wanting to soak in the ocean. He brought us a menu with great options & tropical drinks available to purchase! I had the club sandwich & fries which were delish! There are beach activities to rent including kayaks, paddle boards & more! There is a lovely souvenir shop with handmade seashell wind chimes, mahogany bowls & kitchenware, handmade totes/purses & typical souvenir shop tshirts, bracelets & magnets. I found most of of my entire trip gifts here! Many were handmade & extremely beautiful! Kessie and I exchanged #s to communicate & she did a great job communicating with me the whole day. Our excursion was supposed to end but we didn’t want to leave, so Kessie let us stay past our scheduled time! We didn’t want to leave. Finally, we had to leave as ship boarding time was approaching. In our private ride back to the ship, Kessie shared so much info about Roatan and answered all of our questions. She even gave us each a Honduran lempira (money) for a gift! This was our only excursion during our entire cruise that was not booked through our cruise ship. The main reason we used Roatan breakaway tours was due to the number of amazing reviews. I am so glad we get to add one more review to their list. I can’t express how amazing this tour was from the second we booked until the time we had to get back on the ship I highly recommend using Roatan breakaway tours. The owner and tour guides clearly are very passionate about helping tourists have the best possible excursion. My main concern not going through the ship was the guarantee of being back to the port on time. I was assured numerous times that they guarantee us to be back with plenty of time to spare. Knowing this helped ease my nerves and allowed me to have an amazing experience. Roatan breakaway tours offer so many options to meet every interest while on Roatan. The tour we chose was amazing because we hit three spots in a short period of time which allowed us to see more of the island and enjoy the animals, the ocean and time to relax on the private beach. In the short time with Kessie, she made us feel like family and took great care of us! If I could give more than five stars, I would, highly recommend!

Wonderful Experience! - Our tour guide Diola was the best! She was there for every part of the trip waiting for us when we were done and made the excursion comfortable and enjoyable! The tour itself, AJs and snorkeling was awesome, we had a great time! Everyone was professional and we enjoyed it all!

Best Choice Ever - Once in a lifetime experience! The animals were AMAZING and a monkey peed on my husband (which was awesome lol) then the snorkeling- WOW and the private beach was phenomenal. Our driver was Rosa and she was so sweet, informative and incredibly helpful. Even stopped at the supermarket for us on the way back to the ship and helped us with the currency exchange. She. Was. Awesome. The whole experience just WOW.

This is the tour you need to book! - We loved this tour—don’t hesitate, just buy the ticket. We did this tour on our extended family vacation with three teens (13, 16 and 18), a 76 year old and four 40 somethings. The animal habitat was great with plenty of photo opportunities and time to see all the animals. The snorkeling was the best I’ve done as far as the guide taking the time to call the group together and point our sea life. We ended the day at a small beach resort which was nice. Our driver Jessica made the great tour even better. We all enjoyed our time with her.
