Brilliant tour - Brendan is amazing! - Brendan was such a knowledgeable and friendly guide. We had so much more than just a wine tasting experience - He showed us around some local historic sites, including Roman ruins and a few historically significant shops before making our way to the wine cellar. He was more than happy to take all of our questions throughout and by the experience it felt like less of a tour, and more of a conversation with a really knowledgeable friend! Highly recommend this experience & we'll definitely be doing more of Brendan's tours next time we're in Barcelona!

Exceptional - Brendan was fantastic. His attention to detail was amazing, and this was a one of the wine-tasting tours I was ever on. The sommelier was unbelievable and his knowledge of wine was unmatched. So kind and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed this and would highly recommend it.

Very inclusive tours - Brendan took us on a tour of an area of Barcelona and we enjoyed it so much we asked about taking another tour. Brendan asked us what we would like to see and experience and designed a 2nd tour. We were taken to the original Roman buildings, a bakery, candy shop and a wine shop. We were treated to a number of very good wines and some cheeses at the wine store. The owner spoke very good English. We had a cup of very thick chocolate with churros to dip into it. We visited a very modern market and enjoyed lunch. Along the way Brendan pointed out historic buildings and squares. We hope to go back to Barcelona and tour with Brendan again. He is highly recommended by us.

Delicious and enlightening experience in Barcelona - We were in Barcelona for a five days in late October and did the Taste of Catalan Elegance experience in order to balance traditional sightseeing and trying out traditional wines. We would highly recommend the tour. The guide, Brendan, is very personable and knowledgeable of the history of the Roman Quarter, Barcelona and Catalan culture in general. We got a good insight into the area and he gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and other things to do during our stay. The tasting itself happened in an intimate Catalan cellar which really charmed us. The sommelier, Joan, is very passionate about his profession and the time flew by as we learned about cultivation methods, tasting techniques and life philosophy. The food and wines were all of excellent quality and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Overall, I think the tour is excellent value for money and a great way to learn more about the city while indulging in some great wines. Highly recommended.

Food and wine tour in Barcelona - Wow! We had a great time at Brendan's wine tasting tour. Came to Barcelona for our annual girls trip and decided to do this tour to get the full Catalan experience. There was so much history, discovering the Gothic neighborhood, its Roman past, and tasting local delicacies was great, we checked out some back alleys with few people. We tasted excellent wine and the pairing was spot on, it included the tastiest cheeses and chocolate truffles. The cellar is beautiful and our sommelier was very knowledgeable, we tasted a wine aged in a clay amphorae, it was a first for a lot of the girls. Would 10/10 recommend!

Barcelona Wine Tour - Brendan is a great guide who makes you feel right at home and like you're hanging out with friends. The wine and food pairings were divine, and I enjoyed learning about the Spanish regions and about the wine making methods. I highly recommend this tour!

Great and fun wine-tasting tour! - This was such a fun wine-tasting session with the added bonus of getting to know the Roman quarter in the Gothic neighborhood and tasting a delicious local pastry! Our guide, Brendan, was engaging and knowledgeable, he showed us some hidden gems in the Roman quarter. He even sent us recommendations after the tour of his favorite spots in Barcelona. Joan, the sommelier, was very knowledgeable and passionate about wines, we learned much about Catalan and Spanish wines in general. I would always recommend a gastronomic tour to anyone coming to a city for the first time - it gets you to see and experience places you wouldn't necessarily on your own. I would highly recommend Brendan and his tours.

EXCELLENT! - First wine tasting ever and it was incredible! While being able to taste some exquisite wine the owner was also able to give us a history lesson on wines throughout Spain that I honestly enjoyed. Thanks again for all the help Brendan, you’re the man!
