A great way to feel like a local and taste amazing food and wine. - Our few days in Barcelona were made even better by an inside tour with Brendan. The tourist market is easy to find and it is lovely, but the local food markets and back street cafe’s Brendan took us to stood out. Each stop included a bit of history, great surroundings populated by locals and fantastic local Spanish food. The people behind the carefully curated stops were interesting to meet and provided a true taste of Barcelona. We thoroughly enjoyed the stories, the food and personalized tour away from the main tourist sites. Those market garbanzo beans made with love, the olives, cheese, meats were all amazing.

Brendan is a knowledgeable and insightful guide who really knows how to bring to life some of the hidden gems of Catalan gastronomy, easily weaving city history, with cultural and culinary background, into his commentary. The highlight of the tour for me was the stunning finale at Pinotxos in the Sant Antoni market where the food was truly top notch. This tour really is one not to be missed.
