• Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) - Traverse the lawns and courtyards to reach Wat Phra Kaew. Considered Thailand’s most sacred temple, its main building houses the 66-cm (26-inch) Emerald Buddha, an incredible centuries-old statue carved from a single piece of jade. The king changes the Buddha’s gold outfits during a special ceremony at the start of each new season to bring good fortune to the country.
