• Paradise Cave - Upon arrival in Phong Nha, the group will begin their visit to Paradise Cave, renowned as the longest dry cave in Asia. Nestled among forested karst peaks, this remarkable cave system stretches for 31km, although most visitors explore just the first kilometer. The sheer size is awe-inspiring, with wooden staircases descending into a cathedral-like space filled with vast, otherworldly stalagmites and stalactites. Arriving early is recommended to avoid the crowds, as during peak times (early afternoon), tour guides lead groups with megaphones. Paradise Cave is located approximately 14km southwest of Son Trach. From the buggy drop-off, there is an additional 600m-plus climb to reach the cave entrance. For those wishing to explore deeper into the cave beyond the barrier at the end, there is a chance to see the eyeless cavefish that are part of its ecosystem.

• Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park - By 12:30, enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha village.

• Phong Nha Caves - Following lunch, the group will continue their journey to explore the impressive Phong Nha cave. A boat ride on the Son River, lasting about 25 minutes, will take you to the Phong Nha cave. During the boat trip, you will witness the lush green fields, local people, houses, and limestone formations along the river. Upon arrival in Phong Nha, the visit begins with this water cave, famous for its rock formations named the “Lion,” the “Fairy Caves,” the “Royal Court,” and the “Buddha.” As the boats approach the caves, they queue up, entering one or two at a time. Engines are turned off, and operators use long poles to gently guide them through the murky water. Once inside, the vast cavern opens up, revealing giant stalactite chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Without prompting, everyone falls silent, captivated by the grandeur of the stone cathedral. It is a truly spectacular sight.

• Dong Hoi - Return to the vehicle to depart Phong Nha. The group will head back to Dong Hoi for drop-off at your hotels or designated locations. The trip is expected to conclude around 17:30.
