- Động Người Xưa - Upon arrival at the park entrance, guests will receive entrance tickets and proceed to the Park Center. The first stop is the “Cave of Prehistoric Man,” a limestone cave excavated in 1966. This site is one of the earliest known human habitations in Vietnam, featuring graves, stone axes, and bone-made spears and tools dating back about 7,500 years. During the excavation, archaeologists discovered skeletons in three tombs, believed to be from prehistoric people who lived in the forest 7,500 years ago. In 2000, a fossilized sea reptile called placodontia, dating back 200-300 million years, was found, marking the first discovery of its kind in Southeast Asia.
- Thousand Year Old Tree - Continue to the park’s center for lunch at a house-on-stilts. Afterward, take a short trek into the National Park to explore the flora and fauna of Vietnam’s oldest forest, leading to a giant ancient tree that is 1,000 years old, located in the heart of the jungle.
- Endangered Primate Rescue Centre - The next stop is the “Endangered Primate Rescue Centre,” a non-profit organization focused on the rehabilitation, breeding, research, and conservation of endangered primates and the protection of their habitats.
- Turtle Conservation Centre - Established in 1998 by Fauna and Flora International (FFI), the Turtle Conservation Center (TCC) is part of a broader conservation initiative in Cuc Phuong National Park. In 2001, management was transferred to the national park. Today, the TCC is a leading effort in protecting tortoises and freshwater turtles in Vietnam.
- Hang Gai Street (Street of Hemp) - Return to the vehicle for a 2.5-hour drive back to Hanoi, concluding the tour at the hotel between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
