Passengers from around the world have been climbing aboard the Gondolas since 1985 and the ride hasn’t stopped since.

Additional Information
This tour is designed to be a luxury & private experience in Rotorua with return transfer from Auckland in a luxurious Mercedes vehicle. Our professional tour guides will teach you all about New Zealand’s culture, native language, history and much more.
The standard destinations are listed below (alternatively we can customize the trip to your request):
- Agrodome Kiwi Farm: Watch a live sheep shearing show and farm dogs working to round up the sheep. You will be able to hand feed the animals and take lots of photos.
- Skyline Adventures: Hop on the Gondola and see the breath taking view of the Rotorua City and Lake. Zip the way down the mountain on the Luge and see who is first to the bottom.
- Geothermal Valley (option): Experience the erupting geysers, boiling mud pools and more natural phenomenon only found in the region.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- infant seats have to be requested 24 hours prior to the trip.

Trip of a Life Time - We went on a true adventure with our tour guide and driver David, Pinky and were informed about the journey of the Māori People. We feel we received more than our money’s worth. The Culture Center is a must do.

Our Private Tour of Rotorua’s Geothermal Experience - This tour went way beyond our expectations and was a wealth of information we believe we received from our driver and guide David, Pinky. He pampered us on the long ride from Auckland and back sharing his Kiwi personal experience and family’s heritage from arrival to present day. We would highly recommend his company and him for an enlightening experience

Packed full day; Learned a lot! - Packed full day! Our tour guide, Gary, was most accommodating, knowledgeable ,and personable ! Enjoyed the stories and information on the ride out. Learned about the Māori , saw a kiwi and had a great lunch. Definitely do the cultural experience and lunch

Great Day Trip - Four of us recently did a day trip from Auckland with Tania to Rotorua and the Glow worm caves. There was just the four of us so it was great. It was a big day but it really was excellent. Tania was a great guide. Her local knowledge was extensive and we had plenty of stops along the way……. The scenery from Auckland was pretty spectacular and we would definitely recommend this company. So much nicer than being ‘a number’ on a big bus.

Highly Recommend - What a fantastic experience we had with the whole tour. It started with Elena and all of her help and patience getting a group of ten of us organized on our one day in Auckland. She was very responsive and beyond helpful in all of my queries! I can’t thank her enough for our successful day.
Bright and early Warren (Wazza) picked us up from our hotel to begin our journey to Rotorua and Waitomo Glow Worm Caves. We were greeted with a warm Kiwi welcome and off we went. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and our 12 hour day flew by. It didn’t hurt he is an excellent driver too!
Thank you Elena and Warren for our beyond 5 star day! Highly recommend Auckland and Beyond.

15/10 ⭐️ Great tour and great guide. - Excellent tour. Wazza was our guide. He had great information about New Zealand, it’s history and it’s culture. We went to Rotorua and Waitomo. It was a long day but worth the lack of sleep. I would highly recommend him for any of the tours. We will definitely request him to be our guide on our next trip.

Great day out to Rotorua! - Had a wonderful day out to Rotorua! The itinerary was well timed and Chris is an absolute asset to the team! He represents the brand by imparting his knowledge of the local area and culture. His warm hospitality keeps us all engaged while being informative.
Auckland & Beyond Tours provided us an immaculate vehicle with great features for charging devices and surprising snacks along the way.
