Nice trip - It was a fun and memorable experience! Our guide Adil was very professional and enthusiastic, making the whole trip even more exciting. He introduced us to a lot of interesting knowledge and cold-blooded little stories about New Zealand, which was really eye-opening. From stunning natural scenery and rich Maori culture to unique wildlife and some lovely local customs, every moment is filled with freshness and surprise. The whole trip was organized so that we could get a deeper understanding and appreciation of the beauty.

Informative and fun! - We were picked up by our amazing guide Dave in a very spacious vehicle with about 6 other people. As we drove, Dave provided us with commentary on the history of Auckland and gave us key tips on where to stand or sit on the bus when we got to Hobbiton for the best views. He arrived early either enough time for us to stretch our legs and have a snack before our tour bus came. The tour itself was lovely and perfect for both avid and casual LoTR fans. After a drink at the Green Dragon, my brother and I ended up missing our tour bus back to the rest stop. Staff got us on another bus 20 mins later and we were so worried Dave may have left without us! But luckily he did not give up on us and had waited with the rest of our group. On the way back, he provided cookies, water, a stop overlooking a beautiful lake for pictures, and a stop for ice cream. I usually get sick on car rides, especially with all these hills, but Dave's driving was smooth there and back. Really appreciated his professionalism, sense of humor, and knowledge.

GREAT EXPERIENCE…HOBBITON!!! - HOBBITON !!! what an amazing place to visit. great experience. I’ll definitely gonna come back to explore more places in new zealand. And the tour guid Mr. Reyman was also very nice , humble and approachable person to talk.

Hobbit Living for real! - It was wonderful to see the actual village that we saw in the movie. You truly knew you were in Hobbiton. The hobbit valley was exactly like in the movie. Additionally the tour discussed so many aspects involved in the filming of this location, which was great insight. The entire history of finding the site for Hobbiton, as well as how they built it was also discussed. The highlight was going into the Hobbit house followed by beer at the Green Dragon. Overall a great excursion!

Great shuttle service, interesting stories! - Glad that we could start out so early in the morning! Hobbiton was quite busy, but it got busier in the afternoon.
Martin took great care of us, had interesting stories to share about Auckland and the vicinity. I learnt a lot! Additionally, he was super realiable and looked out for everybody before and after the visit at hobbiton, felt very safe booking solo!

Wonderful Hobbiton Tour with a Friendly Guide - The guide was all smiles throughout the tour and was very considerate of our limited English skills. They arrived at the pickup location on time, but since the car didn't have the tour company's name on it, we didn't realize it was our ride right away.
Although we've been on the Hobbiton tour several times, this experience was once again exceptional. Since the tour had an early morning start and no lunch included, we had to manage our own meals. We wanted to eat at the Hobbiton café, but it was extremely crowded, and we couldn’t get anything.
While some may prefer a shorter tour, I personally would have appreciated a slightly longer one to allow more time for meals and souvenir shopping. It would also have been nice to receive some snacks and water at the beginning of the tour.
The driver was very engaging, sharing interesting stories about New Zealand and Auckland during the journey. On the way back, we made a brief stop at a beautiful dam, which was a lovely addition to the trip. I’m sure the long drive must have been exhausting, but the driver maintained a smooth and comfortable ride.
