BRILLIANT tour! FAVORITE ever! - My husband and I have taken tours in several countries across the world, and this tour was, and will remain, we are sure, our hands-down favorite ever. Marco, who led us through the day, was also the tour company’s owner. He was passionate, knowledgeable, and gracious—a perfect host. He cares deeply about the hops region he and his family call home, and his grand vision is to share his love of the land with others. Marco fully immersed us into everything—we toured a museum dedicated to all things hops, visited a countryside castle-brewery, enjoyed lunch in a traditional beer garden, and journeyed to farms to meet farmers and to witness their work ethic in action. The level of excellence this tour brings to its guests is stellar. You get to see the hops growing in the “gardens” (fields), and then you are invited to touch, and smell, and taste (in beers—cheers!). We left with a thorough understanding of what happens here. Thank you, THANK YOU, Marco! He is a man who lives among these people, and works alongside the farmhands when harvest comes to lend his helping hands. Marco is a remarkable human being.
