- Temple of Olympian Zeus - Situated between the Acropolis and the Ilissos River, the grand Olympeion was among the most significant ancient temples dedicated to Zeus and one of the most renowned marble structures of the ancient world. Discussions will focus on the Temple and its tales from an external perspective.
- Acropolis - As the most magnificent sanctuary of ancient Athens, primarily devoted to its patron, the goddess Athena, the Acropolis has been a central feature of the city for millennia. The Acropolis monuments (the Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, the Propylaea, the Theater of Dionysus,…) are all exceptional masterpieces of ancient architecture, influencing art and culture for centuries while harmonizing with their natural surroundings.
- Theatre of Dionysus - Dionysus, the god of wine and grape harvest, was honored in the Theatre of Dionysus, the oldest theatre established in Athens. It was here that the unparalleled works of Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides, and Aristophanes were first performed.
- Temple of Athena Nike - Dedicated to the goddesses Athena and Nike, the Temple of Athena Nike honored Nike, the goddess of victory in Greek mythology, and Athena, celebrated in this form as victorious in war. Legend has it that the cult statue of the goddess at the temple was wingless to ensure she would never leave Athens.
- Erechtheion - The Erechtheion, an ancient Greek temple on the Acropolis of Athens, was built to house the ancient wooden cult statue of Athena and to celebrate the city’s greatness at the peak of its power and influence.
- Parthenon - Dominating the Acropolis hill in Athens, the Parthenon was constructed in the mid-5th century BCE and dedicated to the Greek goddess Athena Parthenos (“Athena the Virgin”). This temple is widely regarded as the pinnacle of the Doric order’s development, the simplest of the three Classical Greek architectural styles.
- Ancient Agora of Athens - The Agora was the vibrant heart of ancient Athens, serving as the hub of political, commercial, administrative, and social activities, as well as the religious and cultural center and the seat of justice.
- Temple of Hephaestus - The splendid Temple of Hephaestus, one of the best-preserved ancient temples globally, was a place of worship for two significant deities for many merchants and shop owners of the Ancient Agora: Hephaestus, the god protecting all metallurgists, and Athena Ergani, the goddess safeguarding all potters and cottage industries.

Great tour - We had a great tour with Michael as our guide. He shared so much interesting and valuable information and answered all of the groups questions. We really appreciated the mythological stories and information he shared, it made the tour so much more interesting. As we went along he shared with us the plan for the next steps in the tour which helped also. We highly recommend this tour.

Fun way to see these sights - Really enjoyed this tour. I was going to do the acropolis my myself with an audio tour, but I read about this tour and it sounded interesting. I’m glad I did it! Learning about the mythology of the Greek gods and how these places honored them was facilitating. However, you need to purchase the extra tickets and do it through them so you get the right ones. One group on our tour distance the right tickets.

Great Learning from Athena in Athens - Our guide Athena was incredible, she had a positive attitude and definitely cared that we enjoyed the tour. She knew where to stand to get out of the crowds and give us shade to stand in. Some parts of the Acropolis are overwhelming so it was great to have her leading us. We learned myths depicted on the outside of the buildings and a lot of history. Seeing more than the Acropolis was also nice to have in the tour because I feel we got a great overview of the area. If you're going to do one tour in Athens and you like mythology and history, I recommend this one!

convincing experience - Alexandra is a passionate and exciting guide. Everything was well organized. We made the visit with our 12-year-old son ... It may be a little long for this age but it still has him more. We recommend.
