Arusha Town - Lake Manyara National Park
Arusha - After breakfast, the guide will collect guests from KIA Lodge to begin the tour in Arusha. The first stop will be a scenic spot with a stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro, perfect for capturing memorable photos.
Manyara Region - The journey continues to Manyara town for a delightful lunch at Migunga or a similar venue. Manyara Region is one of Tanzania’s 31 administrative regions, with Babati as its regional capital.
Lake Manyara National Park - In the afternoon, after lunch, guests will embark on a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park. This protected area in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara Regions lies between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley, covering 325 km² (125 sq mi), including approximately 230 km² (89 sq mi) of lake surface. Over 350 bird species have been recorded at the lake.
Ngorongoro Crater Tour
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a World Heritage Site, is located 180 km (110 mi) west of Arusha in Tanzania’s Crater Highlands. Named after the Ngorongoro Crater, a vast volcanic caldera, the area is managed by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, a branch of the Tanzanian government, with boundaries aligning with the Ngorongoro Division of the Arusha Region.
Ngorongoro Crater - The Ngorongoro Crater is the main attraction of the Ngorongoro Conservation Authority. It is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera, formed when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed two to three million years ago. The crater is 610 meters (2,000 feet) deep, with a floor covering 260 square kilometers (100 square miles). The original volcano’s height is estimated between 4,500 and 5,800 meters (14,800 to 19,000 feet). The crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. In February 2013, it was recognized by Seven Natural Wonders as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders in Arusha, Tanzania. The Ngorongoro volcano was active from about 2.45 to 2 million years ago.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge
Olduvai Gorge Museum - Olduvai Gorge, or Oldupai Gorge, in Tanzania, is a crucial paleoanthropological site that has significantly advanced the understanding of early human evolution. This steep-sided ravine in the Great Rift Valley, stretching across East Africa, is approximately 48 km (30 mi) long and located in the eastern Serengeti Plains in the Arusha Region, about 45 kilometers (28 miles) from Laetoli, another significant archaeological site of early human habitation. The British/Kenyan paleoanthropologist-archaeologist team Mary and Louis Leakey established and developed the excavation and research programs at Olduvai Gorge, achieving significant advancements in human knowledge and gaining worldwide recognition.
Serengeti National Park - After lunch, guests will enter Serengeti National Park to begin a game drive. This Tanzanian national park, part of the Serengeti ecosystem in the Mara and Simiyu regions, is renowned for its annual migration of over 1.5 million white-bearded (or brindled) wildebeest and 250,000 zebra, as well as its numerous Nile crocodiles and honey badgers.

Flight to Arusha Town and Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
Arusha - Guests will be transferred to the airstrip in Serengeti for a one-hour morning flight to Arusha for lunch. Arusha, a city in Tanzania, East Africa, is situated at the base of volcanic Mt. Meru. It serves as a gateway to safari destinations and Africa’s highest peak, 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro, located about 100 kilometers northeast. To the west lies Serengeti National Park, home to wildlife including lions, rhinoceros, giraffes, and leopards. Later, guests will be driven to Kilimanjaro International Airport for their flight home.
