By midday, arrive at Falls Camp on the banks of the Engaresero River, a perfect spot to shower, bathe in the river, or embark on a trek to the waterfalls hidden in the Western wall of the rift valley. Rest, and around midnight, drive to begin the ascent of Lengai. Upon reaching the summit, the glowing lava should be visible.
