Very good choice for a safari - Samwel and Bange really made the experience. I was lucky to have been placed with them. Samwel took the time to explain stuff that we were looking at. If it was a bird, a tree, or a little stream, he was knowledgeable and very informative. We got new passengers from another safari company and the new passengers were amazed about how Samwel would stop and actually teach us things. Not something everyone does! Bange was the chef with us, he was very very kind, and always on time. He was very easy to engage conversation with and he always had a smile on his face. His food always came out top notch. Same with the new passengers, they mentioned that Bange’s food was much much better than what they had from their company previously. I dealt a lot with Kelvin. Whether it was the hotel pickup, drop off, food, recommendations or anything really he was always super fast to respond, no matter what time of night or day. He made the administration part of this easy. The hotel was decent, nothing at all to complain about. WiFi has been a little tough but survivable. Seems like a good location close to things and polite staff.

A priceless experience everyone has to experience once in his life. - It was the most beautiful experience in my life and i travel a lot. This is a million dollar experience. Our guide Julius was the best guide anyone could ever wish for with almost 20years of experience and knowledge and a love for the animals you can be sure he will make the best out of any game ride. The food was also more then enough although the facility’s provided to the cooks leaves something to be desired in terms of hygiene but the cook made the best of it and we didn't do it for the food but for the nature. The camping experience was amazing to sleep between these wild animals is a humbling and inspiring experience that i will never ever forget. If i could give it a 100 more stars i would. Perfect for a first time safari experience because you visit different parks. Next time i will do a 7day Serengeti ride and hope i can get the same guide.

Breathtakingly beautiful and professional - The safari was breathtaking with the guide (Julius) and the cook (Mr. Delicious) made the trip even more special. Our guide Julius wanted to get the most out of it for us and successfully. Seen so many beautiful animals and his knowledge about the wildlife of Tanzania is infinite. The cook took good care of us and we could also laugh with him. The Serengeti was the highlight. Never been able to see anything so beautiful and the guide knew how to find the animals. It is still wildlife so there are NEVER guarantees, but with an experienced guide the chances of seeing everything increase. It was fantastic! Sleeping among the lions and hippos is also one of the most beautiful and coolest experiences ever!

Excellent service. - I have done a 6-day safari with my partner, and choosing the company has made our trip unforgettable. The communication with Kelvin at all times, the guide and driver Lobulu (who did to talk to everyone to see as many animals as possible), the translator Simon (very funny), and the great quality food of the chef Gidion, and all the transfers and facilities, showed us that they are worth choosing.

Memorable!!! - Patrick was our driver-guide and Guideon was our cook! Bothe were excellent! We had booked a budget trip, but the only budget was the accommodation. If you want to go on a memorable safari and do not mind simple accommodation, I really recommend the budget-safari of Meru Slopes!

An Excellent Safari Experience at Meru Slopes Safari - I had a great experience at Meru Slopes Safari. Patrick was excellent — very professional, knowledgeable, and always helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding; the chef, Gideon, did an amazing job. Every meal was delicious, well prepared, and of very high quality. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend.

Amazing, highly recommend! - We did a 6-day safari tour with this company and it was truly amazing. Our tour guide Joel did everything to make this an unforgettable trip and went out of his way to get us the best wildlife views and sharing his incredible knowledge. We were lucky to see all the big five and even the migration of wildebeast in Northern Serengeti. From day one Joel created a great vibe within our group with his positive attitude and laughter. Our chef Bunge did an excellent job cooking 3 delicious meals a day for us. My partner had her birthday during the trip and Bunge went out of his way to bake her a cake and organised a little celebration ceremony marking this a memorable experience. Meru Slopes is a very well organised organisation. Just be advised that slight changes can occur to your agreed itinerary. Due to another group cancelling, our first activity was rescheduled to the end of our tour where we joined a different group for a day. Just know that this is quite common and that Meru Slopes has everything arranged for you in detail. They communicate well with their guides, drivers and chefs to make sure everything works out fine. Our guide Rashid had been a great guide during our Tarangire day trip, also very knowledgeable and experienced. We truly recommend this organisation and would choose Meru Slopes again without a single doubt!

BEST TIME EVER - Me and my partner had an incredible time on our tour, the chef Adoola and food was 10/10 with great hot breakfast, lunch and dinner. The 2 other girls in our group were lovely and was lucky to only have a group of 4 altogether so didn’t feel crowded atall. our tour guide Lobulu was so knowledgeable and made huge efforts to try get us to see all the animals. We felt very safe in his hands on the road and around the animals. So many great perks for the price such as free airport transfers, free village tour, they even let us check in at 3am and stay an extra night for free. The communication from Kelvin was amazing and everything was just so smooth and enjoyable. I will attach some photos of our 10/10 experience but I mostly took videos of the animals which you can’t upload so my photos are limited. Massively recommend meru slopes and honestly believe this is the best one for the price! Other tours that were more expensive didn’t have perks we had such as the good hot food we had at lunches while others ate sandwhiches. All the other tours eat in the same place, drive and see the same things.
