Interesting tour with a choice of tastings - Interesting tour - showing and explaining all the stages of the process. This includes some films taken as some processes only take place at certain times of the year. Final part is the opportunity to choose 4 drinks from a selection of rums and rum liquers. Shop is good and reasonably priced, for example the rum we bought here was cheaper here than in duty free.

Great visit to Arehucas - Great reception. Stunning environment with the yard overlooking the Atlantic. (I said to my wife that the fork-lift driver there has the best work outlooks possible 😊) Great tour. Very warm, relaxed an accommodating staff from the factory as tour guides. Could answer detailed process question. Great and generous final tasting session and nice factory shop.

What a great morning out. - An excellent trip around the Rum Factory. Full of god information given to us by an excellent tour guide. To see barrels of rum purchased by the stars some time ago still in the aging process. The tasting was magnificent as you were allowed 4 glasses to try 4 different Rums. They all tasted very good. A superb experience.

Great tour if you have an hour to spare. - Historic rum distillery with very modern machinery. The tours are in different languages, cost € 7,- and include tasting of 5 rums. Tasting the high end ones attracts a future refundable charge (if you buy a bottle). Note: Not open all days and they close at 14:00, last tour 13.15ish. Using their local sugar cane, they distill from sugar cane juice rather than molasses in an Agricole style. Age statements are accurate rather than Solera style. Rhe proper rum is apparently uncoloured and unsweetened and aged in American Oak. There are special editions finished in Pedro Ximenez casks. They also produce many rum-based liqueurs. The cost in the shop is significantly cheaper than anywhere in the island including Duty Free at the airport. The tour was informative and very enjoyable. The tasting was awesome and the shop was good. Recommended - especially if you like a tot. But work out the driving arrangements before you go!

Excellent all round experience. - Booked on line, downloaded ticket to phone, showed at ticket office, no problems, were expected. The English speaking guide was excellent and gave a good tour of the distillery. Afterwards we had a tasting of up to 8 different rums, each one a generous taste. Glad I wasn’t driving on this occasion. Considering what we got back it was excellent value for money.

Interesting, good value and delicious - Informative and interesting tour and the rum tasting at the end was delicious! Our tour guide was friendly and I learned a lot of info that I didn’t know. Plenty of rum to taste at the end, and an excellent shop! Also very good value for money! Would recommend!
