Great value, fantastic views - Great trip, spot at several points for photos and info from the guides, beautiful views and a great way to see more of the island. We went in convoy of 4 cars but still a small group so not crowded. Stopped for lunch if you want to eat, multiple guides to accommodate all languages, and option to buy a professional photo in front of the jeeps.

See parts of the "Real" Island - What an amazing experience, we learnt so much about the island and its history. We saw parts of the "Real" Gran Canaria we wouldn't have seen staying in the touristy areas. The Jeep was safe and comfortable. The all you can eat buffet lunch with Water & Sangria included was very reasonably priced at €14 each adult. The souvenir photo was just €10. Our driver was very friendly, knowledgeable, spoke at least 3 languages and gave us very good advice regarding what not to spend our money on.

A worthwhile bumpy ride - Such a great day out. Our driver was lovely and told us so much about the island and despite some of the challenging terrain you would expect you always felt safe.

Must Do - Such a great day out with amazing places and views. Our guide Fabian was amazing dealing with 3 couples each speaking different language- English, German and Italian. None of us missed out on facts about places and we all could just ask any questions. Driving along the cliffs was scary but definitely epic. Thank you.

The beautiful views. ... - The beautiful views. Our driver didn’t speak English so he couldn’t explain anything during the drive. However the driver was very nice and helpful.

Better than the reviews led us to believe! - Booking was really easy and had confirmation straight away. We were picked up from our hotel at 8.20am and then were taken to rendezvous with the other jeeps! The convoy was brilliant and there was lots of stops up the mountains - as a person who is scared of heights, I felt safe throughout our journey (definitely the experience and expertise of the driver though that had me at ease). We stopped at some beautiful points in the mountains, had very interesting information given to us and lots of photos opportunities. The off road section of the tour was brilliant. I recommend not to wear white though as it gets really dusty and I came back with a brown top lol! Lunch was okay (a buffet), but we weren't blown away by it. Not the tour providers fault! The only thing that let it down (and I mean slightly) is the trip to Aloe Vera farm - the talk was really interesting but we'd have preferred to have seen more of the sights to be honest. There was the option to go on the camels but myself and my boyfriend didn't do this. If anything (and I'm being picky here), it would have been nice to have had an explanation of where we were as we were on the journey and where we were headed to next, but on the other hand, it was nice to basque in the silence and take in our surroundings. We were then dropped back to our hotel at around 3.15pm and were truly knackered after a fabulous day. Not sure why the reviews aren't great, but don't believe them! The staff are all lovely and extremely experienced. Thank you!!

6 hour tour including 2.5 hour stops, but somehow a rushed lunch. - Tour guide was entertaining and informative but kept having to switch between English and German – seems strange, that people speaking the same language were put in different jeeps. Met at another hotel as agreed, then had to wait at the Faro2 shopping centre 30 minutes whilst others joined us. We could have just walked to the Faro2 shopping centre in 10 minutes, under our own steam. The stops enroute comprised: Dusty road 20 mins - to listen about rock formation; Santa Lucia de Tirajana 20 mins for drink & call of nature; 15 minutes later - Fataga 60 mins for lunch; 5 minutes later - Aloe Vera to listen to sales pitch for 30 minutes; then viewing platform 15 minutes. Lunch stop should have been in the nice village of Santa Lucia de Tirajana. Instead it was offered at a pub in Fataga where a €14 buffet lunch was available including a drink. We didn’t fancy the buffet so decided to order something else from the bar – what a big mistake – paella took 50 minutes to arrive, which left us less than 10 minutes to try and eat it. Unfortunately, we managed to eat less than half of it which was expensive for €30. Other snacks or sandwiches were not an option on the menu. Our advice if you don’t want a buffet - is to either take your own snacks with you and eat them when you can or hang off eating something until you get back to Maspalomas.

Terrible driver - The route and stops were good, also the main guide, but our driver/guide was constantly talking, with very little meaning and poor english. Very little useful information. Lots of juvenile jokes. Rude, loud, and did not include everyone in the car. NOT a safe driver i.e. used his phone while driving on the edge of a 400m cliff.
